Jeff Clarke (Rose Park) 15.50 - 31 wkts @7.61
Adam Gully (Enfield) 12.00 - 13.00
Micheal Spry (Fitzroy) Not telling  - 18.72
Matt Stanford (Fitzroy) 12.00

I think this is about the strongest association side that has been picked for a while, would have been good if Smith from PV was available, so good luck on Sunday.

To be fair he will do that against most sides....

True! Played cricket with him nearly 20 years ago when he was a promising junior earmarked for higher honors. One of the only blokes I've heard of in the ATCA who made 1000 runs in a season.

as to rocking up to training and get a gig...get a life mate.
if more people turn up to these trainings (myself included) then it would be who ever is better would be picked.
bit hard to say no your not playing to anyone who turns up as maybe only had 13 players to choose from.
pull ya heads in and put your bloody hands up yourselves.
holland has proven his captaincy, and gets respect from all players in the side.
reasonable side , atca are strong , they may belt churches but at least these 13 players are having a go . better than a forfeit I would have thought.
before you bag a side , at least play a game of assoc cricket ya tools......smasha will keep on truckin ... ;)
good luck guys.

Get off your high horse sunshine like I said I merely asked some hard hitting questions which some people may want to know the answer too. Can I not have an opinion or be honest on here? or does this just apply to you Hero?

Is it true Ian Henderson rocked up to training and was told sorry you're not required? The bloke is twice the player Stanford is and don't give me this 'Youth' crap because McDonald, Reidy, Clarke & Holland aren't exactly spring chickens. Hasn't he played the last 3 seasons on turf? I know whenever i've played against him he shows a lot of emotion and has a never say die attitude, not like the weak youth of today!
I wish I was as good a cricketer as what Phantom tells me he is

All the people complaing about the side should ask all the people that 'should have played' and have a T20 game against the side that was picked!!!

I'll umpire it for free! Best seat in the house i reckon!

I'll give ya that one OKC.. You keeping or bowling on Sunday mate?

As for the quality of this particular ATCA side, I'd imagine they'd touch up any of the other Associations - in the State, not just within SAMCA! We should be grateful that Jase Morgan's not playing again this year! And we can add Youngy and Jamie Marsh to that 'thanks for not playing' list..

Hotpies whilst were on the topic of Ian Henderson being at training you would obvisouly know who rang him and got him out to training then??? That would be Holland as he knows the standard of player Hendo is and has seen it first hand and has a huge amount of respect for what he has achieved and the way he plays his game.

Yes Hendo has played on turf and his experience would've been great but at nearly 40 years old and a carnival coming up maybe and just a maybe some younger blokes may get more out of facing the ATCA attack than what Hendo would.

So whilst your point of Hendo being a better player right now, you may be right but in the overall terms and big picture i think the selection was warranted to leave Hendo out and who knows its only tuesday and Hendo is 1st emg. so all this talk may be a waste and he may play yet.......

Not keeping... but not too sure if ill get a bowl. I can think of plenty of people on the 'thanks for not playing' list... Harrity.. Young...Doolan, Martin...Ashmead.....Pretty good side. Very fortunate to be in it, so I'll just take what i get!
