Tim Davey's grand mum's scones are worth trip alone.
What about watching Ben Cameron go around again?????

H31, yes pretty proud of the job the ladies do up there, interesting, none of them have kids playing, they just love the work and the club, oh and the champers post 4 pm they don't mind either. Unfortunately the scones only get served when Davey's playing at home. Ask the Sturt boys what they got after the T/20 the other night, a feast fit for a king. And as for Camo, he played a couple of B Grade games and the knees passed the test, I think your boys will tell you he can still play and got a stinker in the end.

my advice is check your boot size son and show some respect to officials of the game. No problem with showing some passion for your club but direct it into the right areas so you don't embarrass yourself and your club.

Is that watered with the Glenelg Adelaide Pipeline water?

TC, from my memory, they have a South African couch square, apart from Renmark, probably the only place to use that grass, which we are trying (very hard) to get back on Pertaringa Oval. Very high salt tolerant, perhaps Glenelg should use that, not that Les B would let them.

Is it?
I know they have that grass on colonel wait oval up at Kensington too. Looks like you'd play lawn bowls on it but plays pretty well whenever I was there.
TTG are up against it. Biggest football club in Australia, the oval cops an absolute pasting all winter, moreso than any other ground in Adelaide. Add the slope that basically funnels rain from the surrounds down towards the pitch square.
Do they have a good curator now? I remember their old curator at one stage wanted to cut a pitch diagonally across the square as there were a few decent patches of grass that lined up that way. Forget that the sun would be in the batters eyesHe seemed like a clown. Can't imagine he did the pitch square any favours while he was there.
Would the club ever consider making Bulkana the No 1 ground? Just that it only has little athletics on it and less traffic in winter so you could have a bloody good pitch square down there. Would it be big enough?
