Looks like the association games (seniors and 21's) will be at North Haven.

if the temps over 40 Sunday then do we have to call off our 20/20 or can both teams agree to continue to play

Yep you can agree to play it in the heat. No heat policy in the T20's as Bazza has stated.

You have lost it Roseboy.

The question is, how many phone calls do we make to field a D grade side on saturday when blokes start pulling out because it's going to be hot, only to find that we don't have to play anyway......

TL you could actually change it too Saturday if you want i guess since the t20 is not affected by heat? Gives the lads the Sunday to recover and also one less day in the heat wave before the game. It is 99.9999999% chance of being called off on Saturday mate

The way the forcast is changing every day this week, Saturday will probably be 44C.
Unfortunately it robs us of the chance to beat WYC outright ;)

Just wondering how player numbers are holding up at other clubs.
We are having one of our best turnouts for many seasons.
4 sides filled no worries every week, up to 13 blokes missing out weekly, and still have new recruits coming out. Welcome to the club Kevin B.
We have even had 7-8 retirements during the season thus far due to work or being too old or lazy.
I know Sheidow Park have good numbers, as do Keswick.
It looks to me people are coming back to cricket in droves.

Actually I saw Bloods name as the last post on the forum so thought I'd take a look. Terribly disappointed but did learn that Bloods needs 3 aftershaves to hide the BO.

We have better numbers than the past 2 seasons, however there is a bit of a rabble in the lower grades which can make selection difficult. We have several new blokes this year which certainly helps after a bit of an exodus.

The Association 21's side is in a transitional period with most of these guys never played 21's.
It will be interesting on how they will go. Advantage that it will be played on hard wicket against adelaide turf.
