I heard there was likely going to be a bit of an exodus end of year, a lot of frustrated people and older statesman, but i sincerely hope they're not closing the doors.

A few different ones, from the exec aswell.

Rumours, rumours. Have heard various clubs may not be around next seaon but talk to the clubs they are already planning for next season. Only believe the rumours at the preseason meeting when they nominate sides.
Likewise with players you may know where they are playing come first game. A few seaons back a player played more at our home ground in the first few rounds than we did and he never played for us. Kept getting clearances to our opposition.

Where did Scott Keyvote score:

Round 1 vs Smithfield (Frank Brown)
Royals 177 (Norton 49, Conor MacGregor 48, Scotty 0, Wall 5/44, Gates 3/19) & 2/84 (Simpson 48*) def. Smithfield 174 (Cam 4/54, Kent & Will 3 wkts each, Scotty 0/16 off 7)
Round 2 vs Craigmore (Ian Cox)
Royals 124 (Scotty 5, Crossley 3/16) & 185 (Conor MacGregor 71, Brodley 5/70) def by Craigmore 160 (N.Walker 40, Scotty 3/12 off 6, Kent 3/36)
Round 3 vs Enfield (George L)
Royals 154 (Scotty 58, Channa 3/8, Bedge 3/45, Carl's bro 2fa) & 2/74 def by Enfield 8/182dec (Channa & Bedge 23, Reynolds 32*, Carl's bro 33)
Round 4 vs Units (Bob E)
Royals 149 (Richardson 54*, Cam 32, Scotty 6, Walker 6/54) & 51 (Scotty dnb, Walker 6/25) def. Units 126 (Scotty 1/10 off 8, R'son & Sharon 2fa's) & 4/38.
Round 5 vs ATCO (Tez)
Royals 8/108 (Scotty 24, D'antonio 3/14, Childs 3/38(18 extras  )) def. by ATCO 5/110 (D'ants 51*, Boulton 32, Simpson 2/29, Scotty 0/21 off 2)
Round 7 vs NEK (Bob E)
NEK 8/186 (Leonard, Wilhelm & Mills 30's, Scotty 1/19 off 8, Clarke 4/28) def. Royals 140 (Scotty 64, Cam 42 Dominatrix 5/47, Atkins 3/11 off 8)
Round 8 vs Smithfield (Tony McM)
Royals 6/185 (Jenner 48, R'son 42, Baker 40* off 328 balls, Scotty 4) def. Smithfield 179 (Lowe 62, Jenner 3/35, Scotty 1/33 off 8)
Round 9 vs Craigmore (Frank Brown)
Royals 138 (Baker 44, Scotty 1, Crossley 3/37) def. Craigmore 128 (Dawson 38, Will 3/14, Scotty 3/36 off 6)
Round 10 vs Enfield (Tez)
Royals 8/183 (Scotty 53 & 2/21 off 8, nothing else matters as Tez filled his form out on the way to the game) def. Enfield 138
Round 11 vs Units (Running Dave)
Royals 8/158 (R'son 66, J.Ritz 3/42) def by Units 6/162 ( a few 30's, Scotty 1/12 off 8, I repeat 1/12 off 8 overs)
Round 13 vs Pines (The Magician)
Pines 220 (Freeman and Rossy 60 odd each, Clarke 4/40, Scotty 2/32 off 11) def Royals 118 (Scotty 48, Puddy 5/43) & 6/39 (Scotty 9, Louis 4/7)
Round 14 vs NEK (Running Dave)
NEK 8/217 (Atkins & Mills 82, Simpson 5/34, Scotty 0/38) def Royals 167 (Scotty 34, R'son 38, Atkins 6/50)

Round 1: Not a great game for the dominator, scored a duck and although he bowled tidily, he finished with 0/16 from his 7 overs, I'm tipping that Frankie still doesn't drive so Scotty probably wizzed him down to Peachey Road so he could jump on the 450 to the cenna, therefore Frankie chucked him in for a vote thinking no one would notice as he'll end up with a shitload anyway and it's 6 months away. 1 vote
Round 2: The 5 may not have cut it but a tidy 3/12 from 6 overs brought him back into contention, Coxy loves a good muffled convo and Scotty would've done most of the talking anyway so the 3 fa was nearly game changing, add in that Scott would've offered Coxy half of his bucket of chips and BANG, he's in the votes. 1 vote
Round 3: Despite a loss Scott was the only player to pass the half century for the match, Bedge and Channa both made 30's and took 3 wickets so I think George thought it was only fair to give Scotty 3 votes. 3 votes (on 5 now)
Round 4: 6 with the bat, 1/10 off 8 with the ball with no one else doing much should've got the 1 vote, but probably didn't
Round 5: 24 and top scored for the Royals, Tez wouldn't have worried about the bowling and gone 3 for the winners, 2 for the losers and 1 for the winners 2 votes (7)
Round 7: 64 and tidy figures, Bob's a numbers man, who cares about the loss 3 votes (10)
Round 8: No cigar for Scotty this round
Round 9: Frankie had to walk to the Swallowcliff Road bus stop, no votes.
Round 10: "Hey Tez, have you lost weight? I'm thinking of playing C Grade footy, got any spots left?" 3 votes (13)
Round 11: 1/12 off of 8 and "liked" one of Running Dave's status's that week, that got him over the line 1 vote (14)
Round 13: Done ok, Merlin is not fooled by mediocrity though and has his own point system in his head, no votes.
Round 14: Another admiral performance, forgot to like a status though this time, no vote!

In the end, could've easily been the 17 required.

Exactly, I'd rather they come out now for others to react and help the club out, we don't need to lose clubs that have been around for 40 odd years.

Worst part about the 3 votes Tez gave him vs us was he knicked up 2nd ball given not out - and he admitted it to Tez after the game!

How'd your young lad go the other night in the jnr preso's LM?

9 innings
7x 50's
510 runs @ 127.5
15 wickets @ 7.8
An unbeaten 66 in the Grand Final.

Plus another 157 @ 78.5 (2x 50's) and 3 poles in the SAMCA rep stuff..

Surely he won the U14 player of the year count by the length of Flemington?

Luke's a pretty handy fielder for his size though Bedgey and as he showed in the GF can bat when he puts his mind to it.

If it's true it's voted on by the exec, then they need to have a good hard look at themselves! That's terrible - its worse than the Keyvote scandal!

Yeah, what can you do? He had a laugh about it on the way home, I can't see him wanting to play in the SAMCA Cup for them next season, he didn't really wanna play this year but thought he'd better.

He did get player of the tournament for the SAMCA Cup though, some consolation.
