A special mention to John Knapp who plays his 100th game this week, John suffered from a stroke 2 years ago on the field, he was left stranded on 96 games and made it his goal to play again to reach his 100th game.

You are a lot better at this gambling thing than I thought. If you were a bookie you'd be nervous with the SW vs Virginia game at those odds. Wonder if any of the Virginian's put their vegie patches on this game at $4.50?

I just take a lot of notice of what goes on and listen to feedback from those I think have an idea. It tightens the competition up though, I still think that we'd be 7th favourite, we just want to jag enough wins to stay up...........legitimately.

If u have the discipline to bat all day u will win games. This is the thing that i find the teams coming up always struggle with. Try to score all their runs in the first two hours.

Didnt Smithfield miss out on relegation from div 2 because a team pulled out? Was that 2-3 years ago?

Yes, that is correct. A few kids have grown and a couple of holder heads have come into the picture, a more committed culture in the A Grade has been a big part of it too.

While we are on the subject, Adam Smith played his 100th game for OTH this weekend.

bruised foot from a yorker, and bowled off a full toss what a way to bring up the 100! .. still a chance to get his 100th wicket for the club next week tho :)

That reminds me of the Grade 2 premiership we won (Against OTH!)

Duck - No Wickets - Dropped Catch

Oh but I did get something - A premiership medal ;)

i really thought it would be a year for the batters, just with the likes of oz. creedy. rogers. 8 brahma boys. and raug(spelling?)..
but looking around there is def some quality bowling line ups to..
