good changes PG ....i could see it that way too.. but id still would prefer a w/k separate from opening the bat, tough for the lad to do both at senior rep level........ Brookes /Feltus swap , ok you see them every week, you would know......but does Willi bat at 6 ???, never against us...but he does however bowl left arm around.......do you use a batsman that can bowl a few tweekers ? or a spinner that plays as a spinner regardless if he can bat ?... he might sqeeze out the full time left arm spinner because he can bat ......slightly better .... bit like the w/k batsman or the batting w/k selection.. and agreed Carmen would slot in wherever it suited ahead of Leo.....

#1 and #2 ranked batsman so far this season are both openers, selected on that really, willi however could snare PGs spot and play as a spinner who can bat.

Sorry mate, that wasn't in batting order, that was just the squad. IMO Willi opens and Trav goes down the middle as primarily a keeper who is more than capable with the bat.
Norman was good with the gloves last week, but anyone who gets out to my I dont rate

As for the spinner it's simple, either you go with a specialist spinner or not one at all... you can afford not to go with a spinner since you have Davies, Carmen, McInnes, Jenner & Scott, but having a 12 man squad and playing an extra batter then you are not losing anything and infact gaining an option by playing a spinner...
