On the contrary, he will play plenty more games with the mighty Eagles if he doesn't get the Strikers gig. He would miss a few games if he does get the gig.
Anything in your comment to do with the fact he plundered 170 runs off your attack last match?? ;)

I think you missed his point.

If he doesn't get a Strikers gig why would he stay playing club cricket here? Has he settled here? Work? House? Girlfriend?

Yes, I got his point but Crossy is very settled here and loving life at the Eagles.

We will see I guess.
Ludeman confirmed as Strikers keeper yesterday.

With no higher prospects in front of him in Adelaide, I would think a bloke who has already moved states twice might consider options further afield.

Possibly, but I am led to believe that the reason he stayed in Adelaide was not the Strikers gig.

From the WT Facebook:
Adam Crosthwaite will be returning to Sydney due to work commitments. WTDCC would like to thank Adam for his massive contribution to the club during his time in Adelaide and wish him all the best for the future.

Yes, I must apologise. Crossy has returned to Sydney to manage an Internet business. He was offered the Strikers contract for one year but turned it down as he sought a two year contract. Am gutted!

Did anyone notice the amazing score in the U14 White match between Sturt and Port Adelaide? Sturt made 1/555 off 60 overs (a run rate of 9.25 an over!). Two batsmen made double centuries.

186 out of Durbridge's 222 came from boundaries.
Running is overated.

Poor Port kids. That would suck to be part of that. Enough to put you off playing.

Grade Cricket

I don't think it worries kids to much, my lad played in this game, all they want is a bat and a bowl. The team is made up of first year 14s who are aged 10-12, it will be struggle for them but they still have fun.

Young Durbridge was promised a new bat after his first hundred, perhaps keeping this one is a better idea !!

On the other hand, Im not sure what they were trying to prove to let the two lads bat for so long and have the rest of the team sit and get the roof of the mouths get burnt?
