Random draws to find out the home side!

Still think South Road should be fined/penalised some how/suspended from next year because of their forfeit

I agree and we should pose the question at a meeting before the comp finishes this year. Suspended from next year IMO. Place fines for forfeits in the rules for next year also.

Look forward to you bringing it up next meeting then AF.

I do agree though they should pay a price for forfeiting this year, what that penalty should be i don't know as yet.

Definitely agree AF. IMO the suspension from next years t20 comp and also the normal forfeit fee which is? Definitely a fair call. Not only did they nominate for the comp, they then organised it with Morphies and had them get things organised and everything, and then forfeit on the morning of the match. IMO that is terrible by them.

Looking forward to hearing you bring it up AF. We certainly be supporting what fine/suspension you come up with when you suggest it at next meeting

I think that Sth Rd should be fined which should go to Morphy's, We lost money on bbq meat which had to be thrown away and of course then losing revenue from that bbq.
And also suspened from next years 20/20 comp.

While it can be appreciated that you did lose revenue from not playing this game, I think it would be a bit hard to justify a fine being paid directly to one particular club. If this was to be done, then a precedent would be set and a potential for many more cases like it in the future. I am sure this would be a difficult process to justify and monitor by the association.

I agree with a fine and/or disqualification process being put in place. It would definitely make clubs think twice about forfeiting if it also affected their Saturday competition! That way when it may seem "too hard", you will still have people within the club doing anything they can to be able to put a team on the ground.

I agree, we don't want money at all. We still had a good day with our U/15's & parents.
I don't think a fine is in order either, maybe an apology would not go astray though.

So Chris Gayle can bat a bit then... That straight six would be one of the biggest hits I can remember.
