Jake doesn't have a steel rod in his leg but he has had 2 consecutive seasons of shoulder reconstructions so i think he has a good idea of what Steven has gone through.

I think it is more a compliment to Steven that Jake has given and that he feels he is too good to be playing in Section 4 and is capable of dominating section 1 as he did prior to his injuries.

I think the poor facilities played a bigger part in finishing bottom than that result. ;)

Its a very frustrating scenario! It is a case of playing with my mates but as I stated at our AGM last year and as allot of blokes in our association would know themselves when I was 14 years old playing senior cricket I knew no one and really had nothing to bring in terms of "changeroom banter" but I made mates as I went through all the grades thats the appeal of this level of cricket.

This has happened the last couple of years at our club and I find it both embarrassing and frustrating watching the side above these guys struggle and they continue to make a mockery of our club records.

On the same Topic the bloke in the Messenger made a great point as these guys win their trophies that year and get a pat on the back from a few but their names are quickly forgotten in a few years time and the lose more mates then they make. Fudgey is a good bloke ive known him for years but this has been a real change of character for him last 2 years.

Up to last year the most runs in a season was from an A Grader. Brendan McCormack had the clubs most hundreds all in the A grade thats what makes a mockery of our clubs history

Easy way to fix that then, put it to the AGM that only club records will stand for A grade Statistics only.

Does anyone know if cold water will be supplied to the players in the sec 1 grand final? I can get hold of some bottled water if the boys forget to bring their own!!

Firstly I broke my leg that badly that I was told i would never play sport again. I had a rod inserted down the entire main bone that must stay there and numerous screws and plates this is very painful and is something that alters my day to day life at the best of times.

Secondly after 18 months of rehab and tremendous pain I made a comeback to A grade football against all experts recomendations. where after 7 games i dislocated my shoulder and tore it to bits not only causing me to need a full shoulder reconstruction but also have 4 metal anchors inserted so I cant even now lift my arm above my head and will never have any sort of proper movement in it.

So basically I am just wrapped to be able to play any kind of sport at all but WILL NOT have fools who dont know there facts put me in a category as some kind of glory hunter who is out to win trophys as ANYONE that knows me will tell you I couldnt care less about that stuff I just love sport and my mates and thanks for the support VC and Tubby

And as you can see from what you have quoted from me, I simply asked a question. Moe, tubby, VC and even yourself obviously did see the question mark? (there was another one)

Cause I don't like them. Simple. Goes from the captain down.

If we are going to win the flag, I hope we beat the sharks, if we dont win it, I hope it's ramblers or your mob mate (but preferably yours)

Good effort by WYC today. All out for 319. Benny Mac top scoring with 89 & Luders 64. Ramblers had to face out 6 overs at the end of the day and are 0 for about 12.
