The Ramblers almost got a 2nd innings outright against WYC about 4 years ago when AF was out of the country.

If I remember correctly, bad light stopped play. I also remember taking 5-for, probably the only reason I remember the game!

Was that season when we were (undefeated?) minor premiers but choked in semi-final?

Was that the game where we were chasing 170 odd of around 23 or 24 overs? I think we ended up 8 or 9 fa 130 odd.

Coromandel V WYC

Sheidow Park V Westminster OS ( Should be a good game)

South Road V North Haven

Coro Ramblers V Plympton

Keswick V ICC Sharks ( Game of the round for sure)

Glenelg ANA V Mitchell Park

They could all be good games, perhaps with exception of WYC v Coromandel....but Coromandel will get stronger than their first few efforts

Coromandel have picked up a few players from Sturt including Paul Magarey. They were read out as clearances at Tuesday nights association meeting so i would expect their side to be stronger with their inclusion.

AF i agree with all of you predictions except i think ICC will beat keswick in a low scoring game.

I am looking pretty good with those predictions atm. Even got ICC beating keswick in a low scoring game, which is looking good so far.

Bloods it will only be low scoring because of keswick not making any! i wouldn be suprised if ICC win it outright! get 150 ahead and have a dip at gettin some early wickets n then keswick in trouble! ICC has a lethal attack aswell IMO, obviously only happenig if the rain holds off

Yeah, that was the season. We lost a couple of games during the regular season, finished top, got knocked out by Morphy Parks in the semi-final. Masterful choke effort.

One of the HIbberd brothers got dropped at 1st slip 2nd ball (I was the bowler, again the only reason I remember it! ), went on to make 70-odd not out and won them the game.

Strange? Who? Oh yeah, the guy who has taken more section 1 wickets than anyone at our club.

He did well in the 2nd half of that season, I'll give him that! First half, Glenn Bailey and I were leading the bowling trophy.

What has happened to the Bailey twins? I used to love having one chatting in my ear and facing the other one  .

Unfortunately neither play regularly for us any more. Both have to work Saturdays which sux, I'd still rate Scott as one of the best keepers I've seen.

And yeah, they didn't mind having a word or 2!
