Leave Bara alone champ, he's obviously a few sandwiches short of a picnic. How about you riddle me this Typewriter. Would Para Vista rather play the Knights, the Porkers, Lutheran or even the Roys in the finals?

Hmmm.... I play most of my cricket in the B's, so I couldn't really answer you! You may have to direct your question to Oxy Thief... But, I know what he would say... the A's don't mind who they play in finals. You have to beat a great team at some point to win the trophy anyways, so who they get in the semi and the GF doesn't matter. At this time of the year, all O2 is worried about is having his best XI possible on the park.

Cliched I know, but it's the truth deep down. The stalwarts of our A's aren't arrogant - sometimes misunderstood because they play hard, look good and like winning - but I count them as my best mates because they take everything as it comes and like a laugh too.

In my experience, you could say that about 90% of players at any of the Divvy 1 clubs. In my brushes with the likes of Balding, Spry, Roling, Taylor, Borgas, McDonald, Traianos, Harris - they've always made me feel welcome and included and have shown real interest in me and my cricket. Despite what anyone might say, we have a great competition.

Good Call Typewriter, but wouldn't Oxy thief have you in mind for A grade finals!

Does anyone know the Seaton B vs Western XI result?

Right, me & you behind the shelter shed DKL! :P ;)

The player you highlighted never represented the Association last season by my recollection, although he did attend an U21 training session or two, but I don't think he was chosen for any of the 3x U21 matches as such. Mind you, the young fella is only 17yo now (I think), so in 2008/09 (6 ducks) he would've been 13yo. Bit harsh mate.. :P  He has a bit of talent (good eye), but still has a lot of improvement left in him, plus still has another 3yrs or so in U21's.

Any others that grabbed your attention?? 8)

Seaton B Grade beat Western XI. Seaton hit over 300 and Western XI made just under 100. That is what was in the Sunday Mail.

Problem is that day was a good 10 years ago now pies! Couldn't bowl anything but slow garbage about 3 years ago and finally gave up.

Bourkey's sidekick with footy, but both hacks at cricket now and don't bother :P The cricket world has lost a couple of genuine sloggers however!

You reckon im a quid short of a pound and you prance around praying for rain. what kind of nutcase wants rain in cricket season maybe you are from one of the teams happy to finish at the bottom of the ladder and looking for some cheap points from washed out games. all good if thats what you want seriously who would write which team or teams they want to play and which they dont thats only asking for trouble. concentrate on your bowling dancing and leave anne wills to worry about some rain.

pretty borring round coming up. lutheran will wallop seaton. knights will beat fitzroy to hold off lutheran for 3rd spot. rose versus vista is the only game of interest. im tipping lutheran knights and vista. think the rose vista game will be a prelude of the big one.

Wonder which ten player will make up the rest of the side, and should Rob O'Gorman open the bowling or the batting?
