What's this I hear in relation to Justin Davies being labelled a 'cheat'?
Wizard of Oz, maybe you can shed some light on this. Could have been a massive difference in the end result I hear.

Lol. Heard something from a mate of a mate of a mate or something? Perhaps if you don't know the story talk to someone privately. Either way, making vague allegations is pretty pathetic.

Yep, I'm confused. Is this another one of those cryptic thingys that Doggie tried last week?

Frothie, I am not sure what the incident was but one could very well bring up the fact 4 wickets were lost for 6 runs?

Half of the discussions on here are started from vague allegations or talking to a "mate of a mate"
In mainstream media thats called investigative journalism lol
With that... a slight deflection to the next topic!

well if u read the actual comment grahaml, froffies hasnt made any allegations against justin davies at all. he was simply enquiring about someone else making allegations of justin being a cheat. so perhaps take a step back, dont be so keen to jump down someones neck n actually have a look at what is being said

Your heckling still going on 4 days after the match ??

Would say the fact Justin stopped and looked whether the ball was 4 or not suggests the lad did the right thing. No need to cheat.

Credibility of some hecklers with a couple of eskies or JD ?? Gee I wonder ;)

just found out today that One Tree Hill are fielding a 2nd One day side. this D grade side will be in the same division, Div 6, as the One Tree Hill C grade side. great for the club to be getting good numbers for four sides, but i would expect having 2 sides in one division may turn a few heads n raise a couple of eye brows

Why? Seems like you're just fixing for an argument, but OTH have been told to keep player movements between the two sides to a minimum. No doubt the association will keep an eye on things and if anything dodgy is happening they'll sort it out. But good for the comp, eliminates the need for a bye and to be honest unless some grade 1 or 2 players are going to drop down nobody will stop TTG. And that's something that could have happened anyway.

Will be an interesting game and IF EPFC can restrict CCC to 150 or less I would think EPFC win.
CCC will be up for this game and they will be tested both with bat and ball and EPFC willcome up against the best bowler in grade 2 so will see how they handle big Al.

Check what I wrote mate, I said in the past....

Ease up pal.
I thought most of what you posted was on the money, EP restrict CCC to 150 and EP win but restrict the opposition to that score and most teams loose.

Ease up? Not sure I was even firing up...or ease up on your reading comprehension skills?? ;)

Might have to make my way down to have a squizz before watching our B's in turf action. Wouldnt be disappointed either way if CCC or EPFC are batting first, would just want to hear the verbals in the first few overs....

Speaking to Justin the other day. I think he was abit confused wether the boundary is straight between cones or rounded and i got the impression that he thinks it is rounded??

If you're playing a boundary line on a footy oval, you play the line. If there is no line marked, then you play a straight line between cones.

Ahk. The only question left would be were the boundary markers on the line around the oval or brought in ie. Salisbury north.

As Davies is an experienced PDCA A Grade cricketer, I would be very suprised if he didnt know for sure that the boundry was an imaginary straight line between the cones.

Wasn't a vague allegation, home boy. I was there sitting on the boundary with 6 other people (4 of which were neutral supporters) and we all blatantly saw a boundary which was 0.5m over the line. This potential boundary could have been the difference because the 2 batters in, ran a 3. If the boundary was called the original striker of "the 4" would have been back on strike. And oz, hope none of the other boys took any of the heckling personally, especially you, I was very excited to see your back after facing 1 ball. I'm very good mates with a lot of the boys including Justin.

Dont worry about me. Been around long enough to not take that stuff seriously.... Added some colour to the afternoon.

Justin said to me the ball was well in.

Definitely wasn't well in.. Oh well, it's all done now... Hopefully the next time the units meet you boys the game is a bit closer... If that's possible.

We had a big chat after the game in regards to not letting ourselves down with the stick that way again. 6/30 is hopefully not a common theme in terms of collapse with us.

We'll reshuffle the order and add a new name to the side in the coming weeks to improve our bowling and solidify the lower order. I look forward to getting sledged by my mate Miles as well as you blokes on the sidelines again.
