You'll keep.

Anyway, yes Todd is a very sweet hitter of the ball, but all of our judgment will be clouded by how often we see blokes play, often it is only once a year and that is not a very good indication.

I once say old Buggy at Seaton hit a mate of mine back over his head and it cleared the Boulevard and landed on the other side of West Lakes Boulevard. Good size oval,2 deep car park, big nature strip, 2 lanes, big median strip,2 more lanes and another big nature strip. I was at long on and it looked like a Boeing going over my head it was that far up.

Or we could sit here and talk about Cover King and all his Junior 100's......or was one of them in Seniors CK?

yeah mate one in the seniors haha under some illustrious leadership at the time that got me there though!!

i still remember the day where Karl Gill from ramblers decided to smash macca for 20 odd in the 2nd over of the day! was his first 6 balls faced.. at the youth centre, hit some balls straight into the tennis courts! that was some clean hitting that i have rarely seen since!

Yes I remember that, poor old Macca was being consoled by blokes in his first over. Swear he would still have nightmares over it. From memory we had a 40-50 run first wicket stand in about 4-5 overs with Dave Benson being the other opener and he was 0* when the first wicket fell.

Funny stuff, but I have seen better from Gilly. A couple of years ago against Coromandel at Hewitt and last year vs Morphy Parks come to mind. He still comes out swinging but it doesn't come off the middle as much as it used to. Handy knock in the 20/20 this year tho.

no need to mention the game result, but speaking of that, WYC is probably the only club I can't remember beating. Can you guys recall when we last got the points? This year will be it I predict.

IIRC they beat us at the YC one day when Strange and ??? ( other opener, fairly quick) ripped through us.

If I am correct we nearly turned the game around in an outright the next week. Not 100% though..

Danny Cramp. Yes I reckon we got one up just after you guys joined the comp, but I can't recall the match really. Not the first time those two ripped through a side. Quite amazing we have only had perhaps one win in near 10 years of cricket against you blokes.

I more remember a few years ago playing in 45C and bowling from the south end into a strong northerly. Most futile day of cricket ever. That day brought in the origninal 42C 'heat rule'.
