can someone tell me what this video is about? im assuming i am in it?

if i am Mr Hereder, you are in deep trouble!! i have a set of concrete boots your size. My agent also has all copyright rights, so this may be an infringment of that, and we will subsequently commence litigous proceedings my friend. be warned :)

Basically it is just some parklands cricketer ( ;) ) playing some ordinary cricket shots and then at the end the wily spinner extracts his revenge by deceiving him with a well flighted delivery which the batsman (not sure exactly who it is but shares a strong resemblance to BB) hits down the throat of an awaiting fielder. Then there is mass hysteria from the fielding side, a few sledges pointed toward the outgoing batsman who trudges off to the sheds. All jokes aside, the funniest part for me was when BB hits the first ball for 6 some guy next to the camera operator yells out "He's just a slapper". And yes, I believe some special shoes are in order for Mr Herder.

no disccredit to krafty here (hes a gem!), but i remember Johnny Lucas being an a hat trick when krafty came out to prevent it (see the pic on previous page).....and him withstanding the JL delivery. JL took 4 fa that day too. demon.....but krafty had his moment then, and then taking the prized scalps of BB and Lochy....

krafty can be firey...i tangled with him in the c grade this year. he was about to give turbo what for too. hes quite lippy that vista boy.

JL only needed to put one on the stumps and he would've secured his hatty... ;) By memory, that hat-trick ball you speak of, Krafty went down on 2 knees and swished at an attempted cover drive. Looked something like this.. ;)

indeed it is. massibe isnt it. probably bigger these days too. he still tries to wear the same pants from 93/94 when we both walked in.

fyi.....the ground was very slow with lush long grass too. the air is thicker in flinders park, making it almost impossible to clear the boundary unless you have genuine brute strength. A score of 30+ on that oval was something to be proud of....nevermind the demon bowling.

The fieldsman is either asleep or quietly confident that Krafty isn't going to get it off the square - maybe even a combination of both!!

LMAO @ Gigs! A quick flick with the schlong would see the ball flying over the fence at Flinders primary.. ;)

Actually, the only other ground I've played on that would rival Flinders Primary was Ardtornish Primary when Tea Tree Gully were in existence. I remember trying to flick one off the pads, getting thru the shot too soon and getting a leading edge over 'Crackers' Balneave's head for six, which in effect travelled about 45m. Crackers went off his 'nana..

At least Flinders had some grass on it, Ardtornish was dry as a dead dingo's appendage and the running track on the oval didn't need to be marked because the lanes were defined by large, cavernous cracks in the ground! I almost decapitated Josh Samuel there one day with a crunching off-drive that was initially in the gap, but hit the edge of one of the running lane cracks and deviated straight for his head, just whizzed past his left ear..  Bloody dangerous fielding on that little postage stamp.

Dont' remember playing on Artdtornish, but can certainly remember playing on some small primary school grounds in the years that I played at Blackwood.

Noarlunga/Happy Valley were notorious for playing on small grounds.

I remember batting with Rich there when we both were relatively new to the club. we both made runs that day but I do remember batting against McConnell there. I smashed one from him over mid off for 4 and knew the next one would be at my head... that went into the garden over the road at square leg!

When was that hendo? At Flinders Primary? I can remember at least hearing about you getting a double a number of years ago. Didn't realise it was against PV? Can you remember who was playing in that PV team? That would've been against our B team then I assume?
