Yeah mate I do think so. Let's go all 3 sides bar icc.

Reckon this would be closest finals for some time? Even more so than last year, which was bloody close..

Hopefully not the same result for us as when we were outplayed by the ramblers last time we met.

Our bowling was bloody good against them (their keeper got a hold of u for a couple overs), besides that we were good in the field and bowled well.
Our batting that day, was deplorable, as well as the running between the wickets ;)

Obviously been an up and down year for us, played some great cricket against some really good teams. Our biggest problem is that most teams have s@&t facilities/ change rooms if any. Having to sit in a paddock under a tree, after getting changed in a toilet, doesn't make watching the game that great. The fact that few teams supply tea or even cold water is pathetic, and needs to be addressed. Hang around and have a beer with the opp, it makes things a lot more enjoyable win or lose. Thanks, G Dean rules.

Yesterday Coro 5/150 def Plympton outright 86 & 47

On a club note Josh Lourens took 13 wickets for the match and broke the club A Grade record for most wickets in a season with 54 before finals.

in regards to facilities/changerooms it makes it much more of a viable option when a club is affiliated with a footy club... however i do agree that tea could be provided for visiting teams (something that our club is going to look into next year)... but i wouldnt go as far as labelling it 'pathetic' that it isnt done more.

whats everyones tips for finals?

Im going Coro over ICC and WYC (just) over Ramblers with the home ground advantage

What a cop out blaming bad facilities. If that is your biggest problem, you are in more strife than you think princess.
Your biggest problem is you rely on too few to do too much.

Good bye!!!
I feel for past greats like Champion/Stewarts/Shepard/Roberts/and could go on who have been part of history in the SCA only to see this brushed aside bye some fly by nighters that have done jack **** for this club except wollow in their pathetic self interest.

TopGun tell the missus and kids sorry for there is no playground!! No I cant bye u a drink!! That gum tree will give us shade!!!As I said good luck and good bye and I will come and watch but only for a short while.

SCA WILL be stronger and better for this!

I can't see how that will be the case.

Dont you worry YOU look after your community/council venues and we will look after our CLUBS!

wycbloods wrote:I don't think we are the ones who need advice. You need to spend a little more time worrying about your own backyard. We will still be playing on out community/council venues(not that i see why this is such an issue) for years to come in ASCA. The same can't be said about those clubs playing in the SCA for years to come, sadly.

Cove are complaining about facilities and Noarlunga are leaving the SCA.

Being beaten outright twice in one season would indicate you have much bigger problems than the facilities (or lack thereof) of opposition clubs, perhaps your guys need to take the silver spoons out of their mouths and harden up.

Good luck to all teams lucky enough to be playing finals this weekend! Hopefully weather doesn't play a part in deciding results.

ICC and WYC to go through.

Hey WYC boy's, what's the go with your sect 4 capt, heard he ran out on the ground with 9 down in there second dig, jumping up & down that a player who was bowling was not on the team sheet, only to have our capt ( Morphys ) say well i'm not on it either cause you have Mitchell Pks team sheet.
