Natsias? No Davies or Feltus? WTF?! P. Carmen only 103 runs and 57 in 1 knock.. Were guys just not available or is this seriously supposed to be the best XI?

I'd put money on Davies playing, a lot of players didn't like the short notice and refused the opportunity. I think it's a decent line up still, questioning Natsias' inclusion is a bit silly IMO. The Grade1 stats in general aren't too flattering.

I think Feltus not taking his non selection very well, could be a clearance headed R&C way...

At a rough guess, I'd say he declined, playing for R&C I'm sure Russell's connections would've seen him be asked at least.

Every year these teams are questionable i think it's just about time everyone realises that it's who you know not how well you have played that year. Sewelly is a ripper bloke but he has been in this side a few times now and i can't say he has really deserved to be. Not only that he hasn't performed. I shouldn't just have a shot at him because it's not his fault that he gets picked from the brains trust!!

These teams always lack the best players because they can't be stuffed playing cricket all weekend and these teams will only go down hill until there is a bye for the rep games alone. good luck to all though something you can all hang your hat on for the rest of ur lives.. Honestly!!!

Gee, how did you manage that, a post without a bagging :D , I think a one off game is the answer, have it in late January, plenty of time to canvas players, a few trainings, get to monitor one day form and give the lads something for making the squad.
Have an annual game between 2 associations, a trophy and a few bevvies after the game.

bowls at about 10km an hour down wind and bats like bill lawry, J.Davies should have been a no brainer to play seniors

Dont know if you guys seen the results from the assoc games last year but Ritzema has ability, Hit around 80 not out and practically won the game i played in with him. Deserves his spot. I'd say 11 of the 12 in that side are quality cricketers.

Ha, there was a 4 minute gap. Someone has to keep an eye on this rabble. I agree with you though, take away the carrot of playing on Adelaide Oval and this format is poo. It was far better in the 90's, everyone was itching to play back then.

You can always have an opinion without mentioning urself in the same sentence!!! Ect " He looked good in the rep game last year making 80 odd" Still means the same thing without it sounding like ur talking urself up aswell.

At a rough guess, I'd say he declined, playing for R&C I'm sure Russell's connections would've seen him be asked at least.

Not even asked lm.how does the best bowler in that association not even get asked? Oh well another good player lost for pdca as he will be at ingle farm next year..this comp is getting weaker each year..

I wont make excuses for something I don't know 100% about, 1 weeks notice wasn't the best preparation for the PDCA though, hopefully they buy some more shirts and get it right for round 2 on January 17th.
