I must say im jumping on the OTH train this year hopefully it will be a OTH vs Brahma final or maybe even PGCC to get up there. It would be enjoyable to see the teams that havent heavily recruited do well.

Just wondering though whats going to happen with Kenty, Russ and Craig? Have been very handy bowlers over the years, will they get pushed aside for Jimmy, Feltus, Stama and Bomber and will they be happy with not getting as much of a run. Its all very well to bring in talent but if the existing players get agro it can quickly bring a club down.

Lastly, Catchit and Jimmy, sign long term deals? 2,3 or even 4 year deal?

what a massive prob that is hey?? i am pretty sure you guys talk to a few players every year?? even overseas ones .. why would you be wondering?? its not that hard, you pick the best players ya got and if all people are there because they want to be there it will be easy... would you seriously knock ellis mcarthy and bomber back?? sure they were asked, but thats all you can do.. the rest is they all want to play at rosies for the right reasons.. good on rosies i say.. happy days...

i dont quite know who Brahma and OTH have recruited, there has not been a whole heap of talk on here about it. but just because there might not be the sheer volume of recruitment like R&C, dus not mean that they have not picked up a couple of quality players. we already see both teams have strength in depth, coz both teams i believe have had their B grade sides promoted to div 2 which is goin to help players moving up and down the grades no ends... if these teams pick up 1 or 2 players in addition to keeping last seasons players, with the development of their lower grades... never write them off. we have seen the success off SW over the last however many years, not just because of the quality of their A grade, but because of their depth and strength in their Bs... Brahma and OTH could follow a similar suit... what grade are RCs Bs in??? if u add a couple of injuries (like a broken leg for Stama ) would the players coming into the side be able to fill the void created. OTH and Brahma may just reap the rewards of consistency because of quantity of quality, rather than quality in their first XI alone

Understand that the Billy Goats may have be a chance of regaining one of their players from the Jets. Fine player but refuses to kiss butt so not a favourite of the coach.

only player i can think of at the jets that would have an affiliation with OTH who is pushin As down there wud be a certain Lachlan Hall. if he was picked up it would be a huge gain for the billiegoats. would certainly push them up into a position to seriously challenge for the flag. Paul Cree with the addition of Lachlan Hall would be a very fruitful recruiting period for OTH. wonder what truth there might be to this? any OTH boys care to comment???

Find that funny when a few district clubs chased Hall to play in there ones! Hall has battled through the 4's up to the 3's and had an extended run in the 3's before getting a good gig in the 2's before playing 1's again, I can see how he would leave the Jets after all the hard work and effort he has put in over the past 24-36 months!

And if he was to leave because he didn't want to suck ass to play higher, why not take up the offers from the other district clubs?
