I think Sturt have at least 3 in grand finals as well. Mens As, Womens As and Womens Bs.

Should be a close final.

Tipping Sturt to win well after 5pm on Sunday.

Stingrays are in three as well ---- B's, C's and Sixteen White.
Not as good as the Jets or the Blues because there is no A-Grade amongst that, but we are working on it. :)

Jets took out the B Grade flag, after a washed out day two.

A Grade GF will go into the third 'reserve' day to get a result. Jets are 4/46 overnight, chasing 262 for victory.

Jets awarded the B-Grade Flag (there's a difference). Neither side got onto the park on Day Two to "take it out".
Having said that, it's rightly Northern's Flag for they had the better minor round. The Stingrays have paid for taking three matches to get into winning form, and as has now been shown, that has cost them any chance to turn it their way in the Grand Final.

wawa. thats why we play all seasom mate, all these clubs that didnt finish top and having a whinge shit me. they did take out the b grade flag just as any other club in the state did that got washed out today, that finished the highest.
there is no advantage to finishing top other than the case that was presented 2day. a deserved accolade for an outstanding season and anyone that tries to take that away just has sour grapes

If you read my post correctly I think you'd notice I stated it was rightly Northern's Flag. Just pointing out the terminology ---- "took out" suggests an actual Grand Final victory.
Nowhere did I state Southern would have won the GF. In fact the Jets were best placed after bowling Southern out for 168. What the Stingrays lost was the chance to bowl themselves out of trouble, and it wasn't the rain that cost them that chance --- it was their failure to finish top. Indeed during that time one of the sides that proved too good for the Stingrays was Northern Districts.
There is no whinge and no sour grapes. Congratulations to the Jets. They were worthy Premiers. Southern had their chance during the minor round to ensure they would finish higher than the Jets and were not good enough.

I could repeat myself for the third time that Northern were rightful Premiers because of what they achieved in the minor round, but some people obviously can't read, so I'll leave it at that.

LOL @ Wood Duck.

0 runs - 0 catches - 2 overs 0/13...

Good luck to him though, well done to a very dominant Sturt side for 09/10.

By far his worse game for the year booney.

Apparently he got hit for a massive six. I think his performances throughout the year, and Sturts depth definitely helped them win this years flag.

Not many players can boast about playing in a ASCA section 1 flag with Western Youth and a couple years later playing in a A grade District flag for Sturt

Also well done to the West Torrens Eagles on winning both major junior flags: Under 16 Red and Under 14 Red. Hopefully signs of a promising future.
Well done to all senior winners too.
