Just think, if you had joined us at Sandy this year you would be 3-0 instead of 0-3 and probably with out a broken leg. The comp wouldve had no chance against us, and it still wouldve been a bloody good laugh seeing you and Rattas in the same team

Who's this Bill Fuller joker that smashed the Nuri side around the park? Back in my day, I wouldn't have allowed this to happen.
I would have put ever ball on my side of the pitch, then out of the blue knock his middle stump out of the ground, with my famous Waqar Younis yorker.
Gav still has nightmares about The Duke steaming in. :D

I might have to dust the creams off Norm, and bring back a bit of the good old chin music.

Duke, back in your day if they weren't pitched your side of the pitch they were still aimed at the batsmens head, just not bouncing though. Must admit you did have a bit pace behind you and you were a little scary to face more the fact that you had no idea where the ball was going when it left your hand let alone us batsmen down the other end. Anyway you would probably struggle nowadays with the wides down legside rule in the 1 day games. But I do remember that game when you had all the batsmen jumping around, would have to be the quickest spell of bowling I have witnessed in the BL&G.

doecke and prior were bowling powder puffs last saturday. doecke on one leg and off 6 steps. bout the only place norm would of put duke in his day was over the keepers head off his skull.
be good to see how norm goes in a couple weeks trying to put JV over the fence. thats if JV's fit, i see he only bowled at the end of the innings on saty for 5 overs but apparently sent them down on sunday in the outbacks game. maybe the angry bull knows something bout JV's fitness?

I didn't think they were going to pick JV in the outbacks. They had conculded his fitness was all in the mind.

Seriously, how many people want to get on here and bag us or talk us down, theres always an excuse. Each challenge that has been set to us this year we have beaten it, maybe we wont be the pushovers that the comp may have expected us to be. Bring on Tanunda this week and then Kapunda, we are ready for the next challenges that everyone thinks will get the better of us.

i reckon people just dont want to see the new kids on the block to succeed big fella.. just imagine how the president of B&L would feel about this new team coming into his comp and dominating.. maybe the president of B&L should get on here and have a read so he can try and stamp out all this bagging that goes on ;)

If you keep putting your head up expect people to take pot shots.
From my observations, it appears theres only one side on here talking themselves up, hence only one side getting shot down.
