Going to the very tight finish to the remaining spots in the race to the finals. Closest its been in a long time i would assume.
Can ICC beat Keswick and throw their hat into the ring for 4th spot, good quotient 1.117
Belair should hold on and record a very good victory and end Morphy Pk's finals campaign.
Plympton should defend their big score and play finals for the 1st time in a long time!!!!!!!
Match of the round! Cove and Sth Road, I hope Cove win well enough to demote Sth Road out of the top 4, but won't happen. Winner gets home final, loser could miss finals action.
Corro and ANA, well ANA already have 6 points and an 18 run lead. Corro have to pull something out of the hat to win the game outright. Don't know if i can see that happening after Rowey's 7wckts 1st inning demolition of Corro.
Corro will finish the season mid table and out the finals.
As for us (WYC) only making 232 and having Sheidow Pk 4/42, still sets up for an interesting finish. Cooke and foster at the crease, very handy players (feel free to come and join WYC at seasons end) Morrison and Neal still sitting in the shed aswell. Game isn't over. WYC were on hand in the last T20 match where Morrison hit 80odd and Neal made a quick fire 20odd. Klements and Mitchell can score runs when required to.
The top 4 and the end of the minor round
WYC
COVE
PLYMPTON
STH ROAD
--------------
ICC
MORPHY PK
ANA
CORRO
BELAIR
RAMBLERS
KESWICK
SHEIDOW PK

Just a though, what would the team of the year be???? Purely based on stats this season. Not just picking the top 3 bats and bowlers. Be based on where they bat according to club.

BMAC Sheidow are 4/27 so we have a pretty good 15 run buffer after what you think ;)

Don't mind your side, reckon Mark would have had the best year at number 7 so understand his selection. Pomeroy and Oconnor are a bit iffy, even though they have had cracking years.

No doubt the Sth Road players were upset with the decision but how far do you get arguing with any umpire let alone Andrew surely people know that well enough by now. It took a good 3-5 minutes before the game resumed which was ridiculous.

Understand what your saying, and i did not see this particular incident, but does argueing with A Wright show that maybe A Wright has lost some respect within the Cricket Community due to his previous actions... That Andrew has over-ridden a decision instantly creates comments of 'its just Andrew trying to be involved in the game' regardless of whether the decision was correct or not.

Would R Hewett or T Fromeine have had the same backlash if the same actions were taken on the field with this catch on the boundary? Would it have got a page of comments on safooty???

A Wright has somewhat made his bed now, and he will need to get used to people argueing the point with him because peoples perception now so clouded that they believe he is simply trying to be bigger than the game regardless of whether the decision was correct.

Are you serious with this comment ??

One of the South Road lads took a catch on the boundary with 5 overs to go but Andrew overturned it and called it a six, undermining the Roadies lad and giving Sheidow the upper hand.[/quote]
