Port Adelaide have opened up the cheque book again and enticed some blokes from interstate

Woodville have lost Tom Stray who has returned home to Melbourne.

Interesting to see the clubs of the chairman and deputy chairman of the grade cricket committee pick up the 2 high profile recruits for the redbacks

Not a great deal. Defiantly see is old man's action though. Gets down on himself if he bowls a bad one. I made the comment at training the other day that does he understand the cut throat culture A grade cricket is here? As at the moment he is just here to learn and not guaranteed to stay the whole season.

I guess we will see on Monday how the Woodville boys handle him.....

That would be a shame but lets face it the Pirates need to make enough runs first to be more competitive.

Bit harsh on Trav there Mickey. He would have played over 10 seasons of A grade cricket and was always extremely serviceable. Didn't have a great season last year in terms of wickets but still played an important role in the Port team. Will be a very good pick up for Rechabites this season. Not many blokes play that much A grade cricket - credit where credit is due mate.
