Hey Auto good luck for next week. I think you will find Myth Buster if having a bit of fun. You are right we are the same as every one else out there. nothing wrong with being competetive. I was batting at the other end and clear bump ball even the bowler said so and it was a caught and bowled.

Wow....well if it was a clear bump ball. why would the bowler still appeal?? and why then would 2 other fielders have the arrogance to then have a go at Mr Bevan calling him a cheat?

Arrogance possibly......Norman Gunston leading the pack!

Good to see NEK get up in the Semi. I think they can go all the way this year. My Tips are NEK and Adel Lutheran to play in a good GF.

if its the one im thinking of... it was me that hit it and if i saw it taken cleanly i would have walked!

The last time I walked was in a semi and the week after I was given out caught off a bump ball by 'alleged' SACA umpires in the GF, so the moral of the story is DON'T WALK..............EVER, coz the Cricketing Gods don't reward you for your sacrifice.. :P

PS; The game's not over yet George, but I'm sure you'll snuff out any Fitzy charge for victory next week... ;) (just kidding ECKY! ;) )

Hate to be semantic but youve suggested that the semi final game is finished as a fact. The only opinion you stated was in your second sentence.

Fair call Auto i just call them as i see them. If fiztroy chase them down i will be the first to apologise. Just cant see it happening 300 is a big total even on a bit smaller oval. Maybe a few dropped catches will come back to haunt your A grade.

At 9/154 chasing 206 in Rnd 2, Fitzys probably had every right to think they were home & hosed against NEK before Hurricane Baldo swept across Greenacres Reserve.. ;)

Point is, funny things can happen in cricket, especially in Finals.......like a 280 run partnership for example.. ;) There'll be a few punters ready to slap egg on that smug dial of yours george if the Roy Boys get up.

It was a clean catch.....i just added a couple of juggles and a falling dive for degree of difficulty.

next time dont make the falling dive so you cover the ball from the batsman and umpires so we can all appreciate the catch too ;)

It was me that bowled it, Bastard :P Heh, I saw it taken clearly but apparently the umpire did not, nor did the batsmen, and I am the first to admit they are the the only ones that really matter, batsmen must be given benefit of doubt :( I have never thought of Huddo as a "cheat" as a result. I did end up with None for tho, and have basically never taken a wicket since, so in effect that incident completely shattered my confidence, ability and basically career. But oh wells :P :(( Oh, we won though

dont remind me you guys won... i believe Macca helped you that day too. i was very close to wrapping my bat round his head that day after he called no to an easy single so he could stay on strike. prick

Macca........is he still playing?

I remember he had the largest forehead in the comp back when I played.

How he managed to hold a bat with his miniscule hands is one of the world's greatest mysteries.

As for dropping the ball it was caught about a foot off the ground in full view of our keeper, a couple of other slips, gully and fine leg who all just instantaneously erupted. Surely this many people dont start celebrating instantaneously if there was any doubt, unless your playing for Wingies. The only reason there was any doubt was becoz the batter couldnt see as it was bowled and edged at a fair rate of knots and it bobbled abit and i ended up getting it behind me. I couldnt believe it at the time as it was a "clean-ish" catch caught way off the ground. Anyway Bored that was yonks ago mate and we won so it didnt matter in the end.

As for Col not seeing it, thats about as dodgy as the last wicket to fall for Vista that day....the dodgiest LBW ive ever seen. I had a pretty good view from short fine leg and it would gone over a second set of stumps. Even the bowler barely appealed.

Perfect drug...not sure who your claiming to be, but im trying to remember who bowled that ball. Seeing as tho your a port fan and from glenunga thiers only one person it can be, so ill check your stats and see if your story checks out. Or you can save me the time and PM me.
