A great run chase by the Rams, came too close for comfort as they ended up with 290.

A great captains knock by A Leo with 88.

:D .. odds on Merlin doesnt like bat throwing...

8/230 at tea, then became 9/230 at tea when Kershaw stormed off and got in his car and drove off  , eventually timed out on 20 when he didnt return.. all out 288.... units 5/170 at the end of play.

Another case of truth getting in the way of a story. Kershaw was at Salisbury West the whole time and right up until well after the game. Can ask the units lads who came down after when he was still around the club with his family.

DJ's dummy spit was pretty good though. Had been talking things up all week.

I take it though that CU won't be talking about square leg umpires for a while.

another case of the truth getting in the way of a story ? is that insinuating that IM not telling the truth ? ...TIMED OUT means he wasnt there. SW captain asked for a 12th man, and although it was granted ( even if storming off sulking was a legitimate reason ) SW still fielded with 10 men the rest of the day... 36 degrees fighting for outright points and hes (apparently) on the sidelines watching his team field a player short... ok that was good of him to still stay and support the lads...

Rosies 7/320 d OTH 199. Contributions across the board with 50's to Figallo, Brookes and B. Jenner.

Thought Finelegtofineleg toiled hard in tough hot conditions, showed very good stamina and fitness to keep working.

Arguably the most complete batting performance and match overall for a long time, built partnerships with the bat and fought back hard last week after OTH got away to a flier.

Hey PG, how did the OTH boys take the loss?
Are the knives out for Fuller yet?
I was hearing yesterday from some Freeling lads all has not been well over the last week or two up at the hill.
Any truth to it?

Zero truth to it. We are 3 from 4 with some big wins under the belt. I think theres a great atmosphere at the club right now. To be honest i think its the best feeling around the club for the 5 years ive played there. Be interesting to know where that even came from

Rumor has it OTH have roughly 8 names choosing stereosonic over the first onedayer. Could make an interesting game v ATCO this week if it's all true.

Was a good win by R&C, they knuckled down and used their experience when it was needed. Was a pretty disappointing bowling performance from the goats. Not too many runs were scored in the V. Bowling was too short. Lister put a good spell together in the last session. Was good to see Phil roll the arm over for the first time in years 2 pick up 2 wickets.

PG............dirty hitting, true night watchmen style
