I think we may have a sitcheashun here, and please correct me if im wrong. In Div 5 Para Vista had a forfeit but recieved the points for an outright, how does that work? Pretty important for those in that division coz it means home games and it totally effects who plays who this week.

On another point i see Brooklyn Park are playing Adelaide Lutheran at Adelaide Lutherans home ground. Just wondering if this is becoz Brooklyn Parks home ground is unavailable or theyre just wanting to play on the better ground. Assuming Brooklyn Park beat Lutheran and if on the off chance Fitzies B grade can get over Enfield and with Fitzroys ground unavailable where would the final be played?

You get the Max Match point for that Div plus 4 Incentive points. so they recieved 16 points. Very lucky for them.

And yes Brookly parks ground is unavailable.

I hope you get up Auto you deserve it.

That would be cos fitzroy chose to apply for an outright win against paralowie.. so people said they sure thats what they want eg paralowie would play fitzroy and para vista get 16 and top and they agreed.....

this is probably very easy for me to say - 'cause I play for Para Vista (!!!) - but i reckon you guys should've said something no matter the outcome.

reading through these pages, it seems that the general behaviour - on and off the field - of a couple of the Paralowie sides this season has been pretty disappointing, and it needs to be brought to the attention of the exec.

for the record, i'll be rooting for Tommy and his boys in their match on saturday too.

Well here i go again on the rules.............the conspiracy against Fitzroy continues....sorry Goat man!!!

The only points AWARDED, as per the LADDER, were 6 second innings points to Fitzroy....for the second innings win, as paralowie left the game. No where does it say you get 12 points for an outright, and if that is the case, fitzroy should get 12 also.

HOWEVER, Paravista C have been awarded 12 match points, cos Paralowie won the 1st innings
( but lost them because of the A grade forfeit), plus 6 points for fitzies second innings win. The exec feel the need to give the first innings match points that were NOT AWARDED to paralowie, to Paravista C. According to the LADDER, Paralowie has ZERO points, the first innings points were NOT AWARDED, and therefore cannot be given to Paravista C. Paravista C are entitled to 10 points, 6 for the match points (from fitzies second innings win) and 4 incentive points, as per the rules.

Lets just say, the people on the exec have received an email from me on this matter, and should treat my letter quite seriously.
You stoopid f**k !

BB I think you will find that Paralowie were awarded points. Then under the rule they lose there awarded points due to there A grade Forfiet. If you look on the ladder there is an adjustment of -13.55 points. That is why para vista got 12 points. Good luck for your 3 sides on the weekend. As Typewriter said. I hope you knock them off in div 5 and we can do the same in Div 3.

Not as bad as the conspiracy against Para Vista A's last weekend! I'm talking about Bourke with a red missile from behind the grassy knoll.. ;)

In all seriousness, there's nothing wrong with questioning the rules, providing it's; a) done via the correct channels, and; b) an amendment, and/or alternative wording, is provided or recommended to help rectify any flaw or loophole in the rule to improve it.

I, for one, applaud you for questioning the rules and processes that need revamping so that they become water-tight and transparent. Any rule where the Exec do not have to exercise their 'discretion' has to be good for the Clubs, the players, the competition and the Exec themselves.
