Well batted Brod...How did Sparres go? He's telling me its only a matter of time before he decimates a team.

Also didnt you play at Salsbry Norf oval last week?

Well batted auto. Reidy 51 are you kidding me? How many times did he get dropped today?
For me he is easily the most over rated bat in the division., sure he made 90 odd against NEK but also
Heard that he got dropped more than 10 times ( I know hard to believe right ) that day.

Just want to thank the 3 clubs that played Fitzroy this round.

Div 4 v Wingfield) We have a number of young kids in the team and I think it might of been Wingfield’s first win for the season, so well done. We were two short but Wingfield gave us a sub fielder in the 2nd Innings who took two catches. Not only that, Wingfield bought all our players a drink after the game.

Div 3 v Central Mission) Won outright by Fitzroy after a sporting declaration by Central Mission. Played in great spirits, Central Mission lads are big drinkers and were the last to leave after buying out half the bar. Also brought afternoon tea. Pleasure to play against.

Div 1 v Rose Park) Pretty sure the Rose Park lads put on afternoon tea for all, well done on the win. Just too good for us.

Not sure reidy is the most overated bat Sh*ted, I reckon cuzzins from Vi$ta is he reminds me of a ferret running up a drainpipe when batting.

Good effort by the Pirates who had....8 players.....amazingly captain Holland won the toss and bowled with 8 players on small (Salsibury North small oval for those who know it) and oval with a fast outfield
It was a shock to the senses when we went out to bat to see all those fielders

Nice bowling Brod, but try to keep up with the batting.

Went down and watched this game and have no idea what in the hell Fitzroy were trying to achieve. At Tea, Rose Park had the runs in the bag, needing about 20 runs to win with 6 wickets in the shed.
Rose Parks captain, has a chat to Fitzroy's captain and says how about we give you blokes a chance for a outright and declare when we get your runs and then you set Rose Park a target.
From what i was told, Fitzroy's captain agrees and then a old broken down bowler from yesteryear gets in his ear and tells him they still have a chance on beating Rose Park for first innings points. Fitzroy bring back on their opener bowlers and get smashed over the park and Rose park win easily and declare a couple of runs ahead.
Now if i was Fitzroy and needing to get a outright to get back in the finals hunt, i would come out and set a target.
Instead they loss 8 wickets and just bat they day out. I guess finishing 5th is more important than giving yourself every chance to make the finals.
Maybe their captain needs to stand up a bit more and not get over ruled by blokes re living his glory days.
Also heard that it could of been a lot different if there square leg had of giving Graham out run out when the stumps where thrown down but the square leg was too busy checking messages on his phone to care about watching the game.
Good luck Fitzroy, i hope you do make the finals some how. You had a chance yesterday to get a step close.
