Looks like there's some bright sparks coming through the ranks at Plympton

Agree there Jabber , looks like a sensational way to end the year.... think Coromandel if they get it together might be a smokey to grab a spot.

Thought it would be a good idea to set up an ASCA AFL Dream Team league so for those interested head to http://dreamteam.afl.com.au and follow the prompts.
League code is: 583733.
Good luck. Hope you all do really poorly ;)

Just a reminder lads that the T20 in support of the Leukaemia Foundation is on tonight from 5.30pm-8.30pm at Edwardstown Oval. Redbacks player Cam Borgas and Port Power player Hamish Hartlett will be competing.

$3 beers and ciders throughout the night. Head shaving/colouring tent available also. It’d be good to see everyone get around such a worthy cause.

An interesting/intriguing situation in Section 5 where 4th spot is up for grabs:

the winner of South Park v Kenilworth will finish 4th UNLESS ICC Sharks V defeats ICC Sharks IV - would such a result raise questions?

Hey man, no idea who you are, but, like WOW tho, I am so stoned, I am WHACKED out of my brain, and I am SO into what you have to say, like man I wish I knew which club you had signed for or which, Like, you know, or which club you USED to play for , you know or WHICH club you supported or, you know, WHO you are actually having a go at, you know? :Hangman: :weedman:
My thoughts on cricket? :
1. Heat policy sucks
2. Umpires need an immediate injection of brains
3. Committe of ASCA need to listen to it's contituants
4. Constituants of ASCA need to start standing up for themselves, in the right way
5. Junior cricket needs a massive overhaul.
6. I need to be on management committe immediately.

South road got to choose the suspension handed to McGee (1 game and 1 suspended - coincidence with finals coming up). Did not even go to the tribunal even though he was officially reported. The umpire thought it was a fair punishment (since when do the umps and not the tribunal decide what is excessive and what is fair).. Can't believe that has happened.

And to think Mal Condon got 2 matches for calling an umpire a cheat yet McGee gets one match and one suspended. Consistency is obviously not an issue

Bloody weak by Craig lawn and Phil Davis IMO.

From what I hear, the umpire (can't remember his name), not only sent this bloke off while he was at square leg, but also reported him after he was called a retard to his face after he called a wide. Numerous things happened when this bloke was bowling.

I wouldn't worry about it champ. The chances of McGee getting picked for the finals are very slim.

If you are right with your tips Tubby which i think you might be it will be very tight between ICC and South Road for the 4th spot. I dare say that ICC will be bowling first and taking as many wickets as possible against Keswick to try and get their quotient up about .05 and see if South Road's go down the same amount. It will be a very tight finish if the games go the way you have predicted. Although Plympton are the ones who can just win against the ramblers and knock both of them out of 4th and put Morphy's into 4th position.

I hope our boys play at thier best this week and get themselves a finals spot. It will be a great reward for a lot of hard work over the past few years.

PS someone had better advise joan that her pantry is about to be raided - one of the great passionfruit cheesecakes has old joan.

If this does happen, then a cracker of a semi final between the 2 Thomas boys as opposing captains.
