But since plymptons third year of existance, no we havent.

If plympton ever won another section 2 flag as an A Grade i'd do a big wee in the premiership cup, coz it would be a disgrace.

Correct, and on the Sunday morning as well, and during the drinks break, beaten by a better side.

you shouldve won, it was your A grade.. you seed!! which i recall you asked to go down because you were to rubbish to stay in section 1!!!
let me think, how many times has plymptons "A" grade played in section 2.... ummmmmmmmmmm never!!!

In all honesty though, we rocked up thinking cove were idiots after our t20 game. From before the toss they were good blokes. It was good friendly banter on the field and also had a couple cartons between us on the field, it was a good day to spend with cove (cricket aside).

Does help when you make 419 haha yeww what a day

Is that a club record CK? Bloody massive effort well done.

Definitely an a grade record beating our previous best of 2/390 against morphys around 4 years ago. Club record? Not 100% but I'm pretty sure it is.

Should make for a good run chase though, if the cove bats fire it would be advised to use sth road on Saturday as fielders will be scattered on Marion road to save time. Well batted to the wyc boys though, but your visitor change rooms smell like wee..

Visiting change rooms haha kidding they smell like wee yeah? We don't even have home change rooms, let alone visiting change rooms. Where your mob put your gear on Saturday were the male toilets

Every other side sits out in the south eastern corner or around the corner near where the tent were.

Disappointing.

1 week to go, and we just have to pray like hell that Glenelg ANA get up.

Shit position to be in as a player and supporter.

G Dean was a red hot chance for the cove bowling trophy, but the emo's future music festival and the fact that Sammy t got more wickets in two overs than Gary got for the season has halted celebrations. Sad face.

Now for most people who have ever played at WYC you would think that the easter side houses would take a battering, but yesterday it was marion rd's turn. I cant recall a game where more balls went onto marion rd, even one seemed to find it was down to the traffic lights after taking a joy ride towards the car wash. :D
We did witness Scott Luders at his best, even though he only made 36, we did see a MASSIVE 6 which hit a passing red falcon and leave a nice dent on his bonnet. the other 6 wouldve landed in the backyard of the house on marion rd, if it wasnt for some power lines taking the force.
Jake Whenan rewound the clock back to days of old with some blistering shots. Matt King continued on his merry way. He reached 50 in the 14th over. Brad christie was ever so reliable for his solid 2, rough lbw though never the less.
Rob was outstanding in his knock. timed the ball to perfection. was given a life in the 30's and made the most of it. Well Done Hoppy.
Mark in his 150th game hit 37 and played some great leg side flicks. He also ran a couple of 3's.
Feebs and callum battered really well for their 23 and 10no, they both showed glimpses of their best yesterday.
A.Stribley bowled well for his 4 wickets even though he did get his around, he persisted and persisted.

They may have avoided relegation despite finishing bottom, but thats when sides were reluctant to come up.
I dare say an undefeated North haven premiership side would come up, a belair side would come up. If warradale were to win it, I doubt they would come up but never know.
Plympton (if they come bottom) may only be saved by the fact that WOS may not be in section 1 next year, either folded or one side in a lower grade. Even if this is the case, I believe plympton still may in trouble with Port Noarlunga a chance to come into our comp

Plympton may also have the ability to play the "we've been in section 1 for 45 years and this is the first time we've come bottom" card, which i believe Mitchell Park (maybe) played a few years back.

There is precedent where sides have been allowed a "permit" to stay up on those grounds. But as suggested with a few sides beating down the door to get in then that one might be tough.

Come on ANA thats all i'll say, as soon as the 2's are done i'm heading down there decked out in black and gold!

Best bowler in the comp - Josh Laurens followed by Robbie.

I think the Champion Player in my cricket has the top 3 about right. However I'm not sure if it's consistent points for all players. I know the Ramblers can't get any catches to appear in the points when they are are supposed to be worth 1 each. Some clubs haven't entered them.

Hopefully you find the Ramblers bowlers a little more difficult this week

What does Plymptons fall, and possible relegation do for Greg Pritchard as captain? Surely he is a chance to be sacked from the job?

He wasnt exactly the best leader, fielder, or captain against us this year and many other sides have said the same this year. His attitued was poor. Wouldnt be a bad idea to get someone else into the role i would think
