Sorry for the confusion.
The letter did say at Fitzroy but has since had to be relocated to Adel. L.
I did say 730 in the letter but when i posted previously i made a mistake.
Oops!

I really am quite time poor so it is quite hard for me to try and do things like this
but i just cant stand by and watch the ass. crumble like it currently is. Thus i will
sometimes make little errors like this.
Sorry again for any inconvenience caused

No problemo. Thanks for clarifying, I'll pass it on.
I wish I was as good a cricketer as what Phantom tells me he is

For those of you who are interested, about a month ago i sent out letters to each club president asking
them to come to a sub committee meeting tomorrow night at Adelaide Lutherans clubrooms to discuss
the future of our association. We plan to brainstorm ideas as to what we can do to recruit players / clubs
to our comp. From this meeting also form a smaller sub committee to put these plans into action.
The idea is to tackle this problem as an association instead of trying to do it individually. Obviosly it
will ultimatly be up to each club to recruit but we want to give each club the necessary tools to do this.

Anyone is welcome but please make sure that someone from your club is there tomorrow night from 7, it
will be well worth it.

RPCC will be represented. Quick question though...

Is there any chance of getting The Riddler to go with Hendo on his next autograph session i know Hendo is all for the fans so I'm sure he would not mind him tagging along?

Just wana give the fans what they deserve! Maybe they could both attend the above meeting???

Hendo has always been the peoples champion the player the people flock to see! And he gives them what they wont ......and he gives the people what they want as the bloke's had more clubs than Martin Pyke! ;)

I hear O'Gormen just said he had a bucks show to get out of the game cause word is ground capicity just could'nt fit the masses of peopl in if O'Gormen and Geoff Riddle are in the same side.

The 'Mens Health' mag has sacked Pat Rafter off the cover for Geoff word on the street is? has more to offer.......

6-1 is a good start Auto, but I've seen sides capitulate after Xmas before. Just hope we're not one of them! And it's 'Game on' in some of your young blokes eyes this week too, as it should be being the closest match after Day 1 for the Round.

My apologies for Friday's meeting too O2 Thief, but pretty happy that Rose Park will be represented on the night. Hope some good ideas come out of it.

All but 1 (being yourself Auto) tipped Vista this round while Lakes/Fitzroy was split down the middle. Sure that includes a few from Fitzroy but still tells a story.

Rose Lakes may be favourites to finish top at this stage but I'm pretty sure most of the money will be on Vista come finals time. Hard to look past a team that has won 4 flags in a row. My money is on Rose Lakes of course!

Week 2 against a desperate Fitzroy this week followed by games against Vista and Lutheran, lots of good cricket to come this season.

I've found the great man Pidge's batting display and it would be unkind of me not to share it with others. Thanks Goat Herder

Bit disapointing in reality. Where is the rain? No rain makes dancing not dance.

Like to also here what came out of meeting last night? I have come to this competition this year and my thoughts have changed considerably. When i played elsewhere i didnt appreciate how good albeit struggling competition this was. I know now and would recommend it to anyone.

Was quite a successful meeting. Not all clubs were represented but had heard from a few that were keen
but just couldnt make it.
Our recommendations will be presented at the next delagates meeting and i think
that we would prefer to wait until then to comment further. Having said that we will be looking to move
quickly to address the issue.
To work the plan will need the co-operation of clubs and also individuals within the clubs so do the right
thing and make sure that you club is represented at the next meeting

Good luck to everyone today :D

Paralowie Pirates vs NE Knights
Paralowie HS

NE Knights 189
Paralowie 4/268

Norton 73
Boxhead 49
M Frith 43
Withycomb 29*
Smith, Thorpe, Conroy, Tonkin 1 wicket each...Conroy should be buying Gatt beer all night after the catch he took to get him a wicket (A Frithy was understandable annoyed)

A game played with plenty of spirit (sometimes getting close to/on the line), in what seemed to be an oven (maybe thats just cos Im so unfit ;) ) but I thought it was a good days cricket

Can I assume that Fitzroys A grade season is over considering they haven't posted on here about a glorious victory?
