Yep. All cricket called off if the forecast at 9am on Saturday morning is 40 or more.

With regard to cricket being a summer sport etc, I welcome the day off!
I've played 18 seasons of ASCA and I reckon we've only had a heat policy for the past 10 years, and I think the hottest I played in was 46 and that wasnt much fun for me personally.
I understand that others want to play in it, have played in hotter, etc, etc and thats ok for them as well, each to thier own (you need to see a psychiatrist by the way!).
Sucking down pints in 42 deg vs chasing a ball around an oval in 42 deg...

The game will be an extended one starting at 1.00 and will be played in the spirit intended - the memory of a great guy who loved his sport and his family and friends - oh - and beer! Everybody is welcome to drop in and enjoy the day and remember a guy who left us way too soon.

Crazy idea I reckon.
Especially after 21 stubbies.

Don't worry Moe, The bowler isn't all that keen either, plus he doesn't want to see you have to drink your beer through a straw for the rest of the night
21 Stubbies ??? are you taking it easy ???
