Did enjoy taking a hanger when he played for Loxton and Berri too.
Actually I remember him taking a hanger over me in juniors once.
I got him back with a sly elbow to the back of the head in marking contest later though!
Back in my sniping days!

Wouldn't the Murray Pioneer website contain the scores on Tuesday afternoon CN?

And yeah, the Man of Steel can play. Doesn't mind a stick flick. Scored 150 against Loxton last year. As for playing down in town, I don't think so, but he could play div. 1 footy if he did.

I guess. I don't have anything to do with the website though.
Don't really check it myself as I have unlimited access to the actual paper!

Renmark knocked off Berri yesterday.
Bloody good finish to the game. Young Kane Pedler and Morgan Smith were very impressive.
No Doc or Charlie for Berri though...

Yeah, good win for Renmark and the competition I guess. They'll certainly win a few more games. They have a good side when everyone is available. Imagine if they could get those other guys languishing in Renmark District as well.

The whole comp is fairly even I think. Loxton also look fairly strong on paper I reckon.

Having Fitzy in the side was pretty handy for Renmark too.
They've got a couple to come back into the side apparently.

I can't see them challenging Berri in the two-dayers though.
A lot of pressure will be Derek Stevens to get the boys to bat through their 80 overs.

I heard a whisper that Paringa had 10 indian's rock up to their training last week. A couple of them played in a pretty good league over there and 1 is a opening batsmen and the other a opening bowler. Renmark A Grade should look in to this because they will tear it up in the district comp.

I've always thought there might be enough of an Indian population in the Riverland to form their own team.
An opportunity for the RTCA perhaps?

Heard that Renmark got done by 1 run against Monash. They were in trouble at 3 for 30 odd chasing about 180 before Dan Shawyer and Derek Stevens got them close. They then had a bit of a collapse and lost right at the end.

That's a heap of close games so far this season.

Duffield back for Waikerie too. Looks like they are back close to their strongest line up. Should be an interesting game between them and Berri this week.

I see Doc Clifford played in Berri's B's on the weekend NS.
I can't remember the last time he's played in the B's.
Good to get a hit while Berri A grade has the bye I guess?

He hadn't played a game for 4 weeks as he was in New Zealand, there was the Broken Hill game, a wash out and a bye so I think he needed a hit. Besides that, the Renmark teams play A grade players in the byes so why should we be any different. Obviously he won't qualify but we need to qualify others to avoid another Daniel Dawson situation where he was dropped from the A's during finals and wasn't allowed to play in the B's.

Yeah wasn't implying that he'd qualify for B's.
Was just saying it was interesting to see him have a hit with them.
Been a very long time methinks. He would've enjoyed it I reckon.

I remember playing a B grade game a couple of years ago where Ryan Dale, Fridgey and Cawsey all played.
It was a hard deck.
Oh the joy!

We were so bad off that I opened the bowling.

Oh dear DW.
I've seen Rhino play B's a couple of times.
Didn't enjoy bowling to him.
