Ramblers subs are $180 if paid by round 2 or $200 after. $20 per game in lower grades. discounts for students/unemployed. I'm thinking your subs are pretty cheap. We are strong financially and blokes have never complained about level of subs.

Sometimes you just need a treasurer with "balls" and all subs are collected.

Unfortunately our treasurer is female, although she does wear the pants in her family.
Yes our subs are low & i have rammed that point home to our guys more than once. We are sound financially as well, and with a hard working social committee this year i reckon we will be in the GOOD financial catergory

Yes, Morphy's treasurer is a female, but if she goes to a player and say's pay me some fee money, they pay.
She's even got money from players this year that haven't paid in previous years ( Heavupasingledigit )
As for the pants, are you wearing yours Moe ????

Only just put my pants back on after the shellacking i copped in 8 ball last night at 1am by Mrs. Wheels & Deals. Speaking of 8 ball, bad luck in the interclub championship last night, your partener sux.

Real McCoy I hope you are not suggesting i think because our treasurer is a woman, that i think she cannot do the job, i was playing on the line that amateur footy said you need a treasurer with balls! HaHa :D She is definately doing a better job than our last one.

Should be right you only get out bowled or caught in front of the wicket   ;) .

2 part question for lads from Sheidow having a crack at Grade Cricket

1 What separates Grade cricket from Community cricket if anything?

2 Given that your all playing B,C, D grade at the moment, rightly or wrongly. I would imagine these grades are a combination of old A graders dropping down and promising youngsters. Have you seen any promising youngsters in batting, quicks and spinners as far as SA are concerned

I don't think C Grade proves anything.

Ramblers over NH today. NH 9/147 and Ramblers after shaky start passed them 5 wickets down with a few overs left. Dimma 26 off last over to bring up 50.

Apparently stepping on your stumps is not out because you hit a 6 and the ball was dead. Just thought I'd let you know that. Obviously Kenilworth wrote the rule book.

Keswick beat WOS. They beat themselves up too, Murphy went down to Paterson in the 1st round. Lucky Singh was quoted as saying "heh heh heh".

Paul Mitsigeorgis yesterday made his second 100no in as many innings great effort considering he caried his bat in both knocks. 244no in 100 overs is a pretty awesome effort if i do say.

Must say it was very pleasing to have a friendly game of cricket again yesterday. Game played on good spirits and how section cricket should be played.

Also, new umpire Graeme Gow is superb. Didn't make a bad decision and handled the players very well IMO.
