Good day in our D's as we got across the line against Hamilton. It was a great game to be a part of and i hope it isn't the last time us 5 get to play a game together.

A costly dropped catch stopped the game from being a real nail biting finish. The final score doesn't do the game justice to how close it was when you guys got the runs. That was a nice blow to win the game straight back over the bowlers head.

Cricket was the winner as it was a real good game apart from the last 12 overs.

Western Youth Centre 9 0 8 0 1 0 76 2196 87 1743 49 1.4423
2 Plympton Footballers 9 0 6 0 3 0 84 1695 86 1748 39 0.9928
3 South Road 9 0 5 1 3 0 79 1698 85 1590 36 1.1490
4 Coromandel 9 0 5 1 3 0 88 1862 86 1742 36 1.0446
5 Cove 9 0 5 0 4 0 86 1715 90 1702 34 1.0545
6 Morphettville Park 9 0 4 1 4 0 78 1684 86 1737 31 1.0689
7 ICC Sharks 9 0 4 1 4 0 91 1799 80 1508 31 1.0488
8 Coromandel Ramblers 9 0 4 0 5 0 73 1610 82 1807 29 1.0008
9 Belair 9 0 3 0 6 0 81 1623 78 1779 24 0.8785
10 Keswick 9 0 3 0 6 0 95 1532 89 1684 24 0.8523
11 Sheidow Park 9 0 3 0 6 0 90 1458 77 1608 24 0.7757
12 Glenelg ANA 9 0 2 0 7 0 87 1364 82 1588 19 0.8096

WYC to play Sth Rd (A) and Sheidow Pk (H). Win one and will finish top. Would need lots of outrights to miss the finals.

Plympton to play ICC (H) and Ramblers (A0. Win one game and they should guarantee a finals spot however if Cove win both and Plympton win only one of the remaining games they may well miss out. Beating the sharks this week will mean there is one less side that can take a spot off them. They would be hoping to beat the sharks and hope that Keswick and Coro win as this would almost guarantee a finals spot it will then come down to where they finish in the 4.

South Rd to play WYC (H) and Cove (A) Similar story to Plympton in that they can make it with one more win if other results go their way. Beating Cove is the most important game for them but winning both will ensure they make it. They want Coro and Keswick to win this week as well as Plympton. That would leave them in the finals if they beat WYC this week but still in the 4 even if they lost. Beat Cove in rd 11 and they would be back in the finals for the first time since their last premiership.

Coro to play Morphy Pk's (A) and Glenelg (H) They have been very indifferent with their performances since xmas and will need to bring out some better performances with the bat to win these games. They will surrender their position in the 4 if they lose this week and this would leave their destiny in the hands of the other teams. Will have to beat Morphy's this week to make the finals and depending on results this week may have to win both of their remaining games to play finals this year. I think it is most likely they will need to win both of their remaining games to play finals.

TIPS,
Mine picked on who we need to win or lose to still have a chance, winners in capts.

MORPHY v Coromandel, A must win us.
Sth Rd v WYC. Sth Rd above us, but have surprised me.
SHIEDOW v Belair.
PLYMPTON v icc, gets ICC of a tails if we were to get up.
KESWICK v cove, puts as back up there with Cove.
ANA v ramblers, ANA to finish of strong.

Well these are only if Morphy's win, if we don't well then #-o

Here are my tips for this round.

Morphy Parks v Coromandel, No way Coro will have another down game
Sth Rd v WYC. WYC will win well, way too much depth with the bat and ball.
Sheidow v Belair. Belair will win just. Wegener to make runs
Plympton v ICC ICC too much firepower with the bat. Verrall to take wickets
Keswick v Cove Cove playing awesome at right time of the year.
Glenelg v Ramblers We are getting run production from more areas and were bowling tight as a unit. Glenelg too reliant on Rowe

Agree with all of them except i think Sheidow will win.

I wouldn't discount South Road either playing good cricket atm and we are a fair way off being full strength thanks to a few holidays from our boys   . Even if we were at full strength south road have been playing well and it will be a tight game as there is plenty on the line for both sides.

Well done to Steven Thomas and Morphys thats a massive score against what I thought was a good bowling side, perhaps their gone?

ICC batted all day to be 9/250 Diener 80 odd batted well but was dropped a few times, Buttfield 50 batted very smartly, Henwood who looks a very good batsmen made 30 odd.

ICC showed great patience in the middle of the innings to set up their very good score, well done to our boys for their efforts on a
hot day to keep the pressure on for the 75 overs. Gonna have to be patient and work hard next week, we will need lots of contributions with the bat to win this one.

**** this 75 overs!!!!

I doubt that very much.
Great viewing from my balcony across the road.
I know Steven is in aworld of pain right now, but a fantastic knock.
Chad also with another 40 odd, Pato with 53, and a good solid effort all round from all finally showed what our batting line up is capable of.

Yeah I read it and thought why on earth they would enjoy it????

Maybe they enjoy cutting themselves? Or doing a Michael Hutchens??

Jabber, jabber, jabber... You'd want to hope that doesn't come back to bite you on the arse in a few weeks!!
Credit to Morphies and Steve today. Batted very well to the conditions. Thought our boys pushed hard till the end though. Not much you can do when a bloke has a day out. Some really good efforts in the field!
