No great surprises that they are mainly the better sides that people like to see lose.

I would hope my vote is not for Sheidow because as JB said he has "nothing" to do with the club even tho he is on the committee!!!

Moe, how do you like your chances this week? how many overs do you have left to bowl??

I would say that our attack last year was probably the best in the comp but ICC. We had jib take 22 wickets Harvs take around 18, Cookie take around 15 and myself and Fossy around 15. We never relied on one bowler every week. Now we have lost Jib (our best bowler) ,Harvs and myself but have Gained keith Clements and Ben Cameron. I faced every attack but North Haven and WYC (who I did watch bowl against us) last year and found none but ICC better than ours.

18 CK. I'm confident for some strange reason. I know real McCoy is not giving us much chance, but with Brokensha & Spehr in form, young Al Elbourn up fom the 2's in good touch, Roocke in, Whellum & Graves due and 2 wild cards O'lauglin and johns who knows? Will score quickly on William Light with new shorter boundaries ( i am sure it has been mown this week )

Who are O'Laughlin and Johns, have they played with Morphies before?

Shorter boundaries at William Light? Keep them to a hundred in 18 overs and you would be happy i would suggest.

Get basso early on and you could keep it to less then that! Be good to see ya get up, altho chasing a score against Glenelg ANA's bowling line up would be difficult..

O'Lauglin's 2nd year came from Sullies. Dylan Johns is a nutcase fast bowler who bats like a nut as well.(Broken Hill)
Basso very lucky to still be in CK. Must be from Paris with his best shots last week the french cut.

Thats the case, when your in form it falls your way with things like that. Basso is a quality player and i guess could take it away from morphies if he bats 10 of the 18 overs on the w.e!!!

You blokes should keep us all updated with your season stats, I'd be interested to see how everyone is doing.

It might have been like it last year (didn't play there) but I don't remember the boundries being as close as they were on the weekend before. About 10 metres in from the posts on the western side because of the state of the oval and pretty much the same length the rest of the way round. They used to be a lot closer to the tennis courts and the goal posts straight especially.

Key is us finding some form with the bat to back up ross and chris. 250 will be gettable in 55 overs on that oval

Yeh, came over a bit strong. Basso very good and could take the game away from us quickly. Should not bag blokes with my highest score being a fabulous 17
