At 3/30 with 3 of our 4 top run scorers out I thought you guys were going to role us real cheap. Even at 5/124 with all our leading run scorers out it wasn't looking to good. Thankfully another guy found form and doubled his run tally for the last 2 seasons to get us to a competitive 224.

Luders bowled outstandingly. I reckon 16 of his 31 went through the slips cordon at catchable height. Didn't bowl many bad balls at all and bowled with real good heat even in his last spell.

Hopefully a couple early wickets next week and it should be a good close finish.

Think it's great of the Wester Youth club to allow all the brothers to play together for a game, i'm sure you enjoyed it and something to remember.

Icc 153- nicholls 45, miller yes mick miller 30, Olly 3 fa 42 from 16. T Roberts 3 fa 29 from 17.
WYC 1 fa 20.
Had issues with matting and used their new matting. Started 10min late but finished on time.

Sets up an interesting chase for the youth centre lads. Win this and I'd confidently say playing finals.

Also head wycbloods had an expensive day out with the ball playing d grade, S Luders in his 1st game this yr took 4 fa.

Yeah certainly some blokes playing in their side who should be playing much higher.

And i bowled rubbish all day too haha

You made one before Tubby?

No he has not!
In fact, in his last 2 innings he has surpassed his previous top score for the club.
Always thought Div.4 was his grade ;)

Excellent effort Tubsy.

Definitely was good fun for all of us. Hopefully it continues on the weekend and it's a good run chase.

Your fella that made the 94(?) out of the first 124 can seriously bat. He smashed some balls dead straight.

My guess at the batting line up for this game:

Krutli
Curyer
Titterton
Hopkins
Oakey
Mattner
Hartlett
Rowe
Kinnear
May
Lourens
12th: Singh

I would think Singh would be a chance to bat ahead of Lourens but agree with the rest of it.

I would think if they are after quick runs, Joshy will go. Actually think Joshy will bat either way to be honest.

What about it? You wouldn't have him in the side, having him 12th?

He is very hit and miss but he is capable of clearing the boundary quite well.

Good night last night down at Cove Cricket Club. Jeff Thomson was bloody funny in his stand up act. Can't say the same for his sidekick though

We had Jeff Thompson and Mouse a few years ago and found him (mouse) to be an absolute rip-off. And a very un-funny human being!

Which is why we've now decided to go it alone when organising these sorts of shows.
