Hey bara, no offence mate but you talk jibberish. You need to clarify your thoughts much more clearly and logically. The way you right some of your sentences it makes it hard to read and understand. Again no offence meant. Also do you play for Rose Park?

Quite possibly mate, but IMO it's pretty poor form saying it in the first place. :?

It's a good thing the C&CCA coaches don't treat our juniors with the same level contempt & disregard. Particularly when the ATCA U21's would most likely smack 9 shades outta the likes of Ingle Farm... :P

I'd also like to make mention & give kudo's to OB, for not only getting the side off the ground again this year & looking after the lads on the day, but organising the game to be played on turf. We could've easily played the match on hard wicket, but at the end of the day we would prefer to give the U21's some exposure to playing on turf. Our Carnivals are played on turf, and as such, the likes of Borgas, Sandford & Traianos would've learnt valuable lessons yesterday. You can't replace practical with theory.. ;)

Special thank to Typewriter for volunteering his services to score. Thank you mate!! Thanks also to all that came out & offered their support for the young fella's.

Great response by you all. I respect your comp truely. You guys are losing teams year by year and i hope my comments may be an inspiration to you all to get together and prehaps revamp your thinking towards the future. Imagine your comp being one club in ATCA and being a force in later years. It could be done.

Mate this bloke is past being a knob. When he is treating to beat up his own captain at the last drinks break it just isn't on. Guys were talking to Seatons captain after the game and telling him they should move him on. Apparently he has threatened to bring down his mates and beat them up if they try it.
They guy is a wanker of the highest order. But i guess you know best.

And the Seaton skipper is a young bloke too. He needs all the help he can get, not threatened to have his head knocked off by his opening bowler.

You've confirmed who I thought it was- this wanker gave me a hip & shoulder as I was running between wickets, hardly accidental contact. I challenged him over it, but he looked confused, as I started using double-syllable words.
Still, he sooked like a bitch for the rest of the game.

It's good to see some people can take constructive criticism and put it to good use Bara unlike some other negative people. Anyway enough about that my A grade finalists are:
Rose Park v Fitzroy
Para Vista v Adelaide Lutheran

Rose Park to defeat Para Vista

Must admit you've got a unique way of trying to "inspire" young cricketers mate. :? Sinking the boots in when they're down and demeaning their ability is hardly "inspirational".  Here's hoping your lad doesn't encounter any coaches who try to conjur up "inspiration" using the same methods along his own cricketing journey. ;)

Just to shed a few facts around the assumption we are constantly "losing year by year", we have taken the scalps of PDCA & ASCA in recent years in the seniors, and after an absence of approx 5yrs, we have fielded U21's for the last 2 SAMCA campaigns. When the likes of Wayne Phillips congratulate us on how competitive we are now, compared to early 2000's when inter-association competition first kicked off, I think we're on the right track as a competition/association in our own right. ;)

5. Fitzroy (2/5) Still to play Rose Park, NEK & Seaton
6. Seaton (1/6) Still to play NEK, Adelaide Lutheran & Fitzroy

Tipping these games i have...

Rose Lakes .....Lose to Fitz, Beat Vi$ta, Beat Luth......end up 8/2
Vi$ta..............Beat Luth, Lose Rose, Beat NEK..........end up 7/3
NEK................Beat Seat, Lose Fitz, Lose Vi$ta.........end up 5/5
Lutheran.........Lose Vi$ta, Beat Seaton, Lose Rose.....end up 5/5
Fitzroy............Beat Rose, NEK & Seaton..................end up 5/5
Seaton...........Lose NEK, Luth & Fitzroy....................end up 1/9

so positions 3-5 are up for grabs and the game between Rose Lakes and Vi$ta is potentially a game for a home grand final.

1. Magill-Morialta (7/0) Still to play Enfield, PV, Paralowie

3. Para Vista (3/4) Still to play Adelaide Lutheran, M-M, Enfield
4. Enfield (3/4) Still to play M-M, NEK, PV
5. North-Eastern Knights (2/5) Still to play Paralowie, Enfield, Adelaide Lutheran
6. Adelaide Lutheran (1/6) Still to play PV, Paralowie, NEK

Get stuck into it!

because Ad.Luth points havent been counted in one game the correct Ladder would be:

Magill
Paralowie
Ad.Luth
P.V
Enfield
NEK

and judging by them fixtures it looks like PV and Enfield might play off for 4th spot in the final round..could be very interesting if that is the case

5. Fitzroy (2/5) Still to play Rose Park, NEK & Seaton
6. Seaton (1/6) Still to play NEK, Adelaide Lutheran & Fitzroy

Italics signifies playing that opponent in an away game.

So, come on lads, put your money where your mouth is, what will the ladder look like at the end of the year? Who's got a tough run home and who's got an easy one? What team would you prefer to play in finals?

Rose Park could end Fitzroy's season next game, and with Rob O'Gorman aboard, I can see that happening.
I wish I was as good a cricketer as what Phantom tells me he is
