Robbie has the one when he made 197, bloods made 102, myself 133n.o, Kingy with 103 but Benny Mac? Haha we love giving it too him about that.

Although was not helped when booney declared on him when Benny was 94not out :lol:

what an awesome knock that was... best ive seen... still recovering from jumping the hewett oval fence and running up and down the hill fetching the red.

haha ill never forget cheeky standing on the boundary while i was bowling to robbie and he kept yelling out... oi robbie hit this one for six!! which he preceeded to do for the next 4 balls or so

Definitely the best knock iv seen in A grade cricket.

On that note, is Hopkins and Ledgards 197 (ledgard got his the year before) the highest section 1 score?

Pretty sure Alan Sutherland made 210 in a 60 over game in the mid 80's for Mitchell Park. Can't remember who against though - but his next knock was also a big ton - man he could play!

Not wrong - use to give me heaps of badges on the thighs in the nets - and then laugh at me! Won many games with both bat and ball - with Reynolds and Berkshire as back up it was a pretty fearsome bowling lineup.

G. Stock 234 Prospect 1917-1918 section 1 was the highest i found in an old handbook CK. Counted about 14 double tons in section 1.

Where you get that from? I had a quick look through an old handbook and the records start from 1911-12.

Anyone know how old the A&SCA is?
