Forum medal Enfield v Smithfield
3 - John Owen
2 - Micky Lane
1 - Craig Lowe
**** we got pantsed bad.. Owen 106no out of 144 - haven’t seen someone come out and tee off like that in a long time, had 48 out of about 50 in the opening 6 or 7 overs.
Lane ripped the guts out of our middle order just bowling full and straight.
Good win Smithfield well done.. **** cricket.

That definitely has to be a piss take..
Nath Mciver has hit 300 runs and taken 20 wickets as a spinner, not to mention him being the best fielder in the comp by a country mile..
Absolutely ridiculous who ever has picked that team! Needs a clip around the ear to open their eyes a bit lol
Plus I’m pretty sure they’ve asked nugget to play also but he’s not named in the team above either!

Taken from an Email from PDCA this afternoon.
Will probably change before Sunday as they don't actually ask the players if their available or not!

Haven’t checked my emails, but you’re right they don’t ask players - no one has spoken to me about it.

This c**t! Piping up out of the wilderness again... we must be squaring off against each other again this week!
Maybe I am keeping, remember that season you bitched out with a sore finger and I took the gloves - so much better than you.

I think it's time the member clubs of the PDCA think about going to a 6 team per grade comp, I've been an advocate for it for a long time and it will be a 2 year plan to implement it but I can't see any Grade 2 team going to Grade 1 and giving the 4 a shake.
Grade 1 has 2 stand outs, 3 around the same level, 2 a fair way off them 3 and then there's Riverside who are broken without McMullen.
Grade 2 seems to as even as it has been in some time, I think all teams are around the same level as the bottom 3 in Grade 1, despite Saturday's result Enfield are probably the best challengers for NEK with the Pines a tad behind, you can throw a blanket over the rest, any of the other 5 teams can turn it on any given day.

6x teams, 3x round robin rounds each (1x 2 dayer, 2x one dayer). Gives 20 week season (currently 21), and spreads the depth of clubs down which will improve the promotion/relegation system.
Lock it in Eddie, I agree.
