Any scores in the Lutheran v NEK 'A' grade game mate? Was going to do the tips today, but we're missing one result.

yep, lutheran won by 9 runs....... not happy jan........
we batted like crap, bowled well to keep them to 157, thorpe 4fa about 25-30 ? rotas 3fa about the same,
smasha 2fa 14  .....good game aswell, both teams could have won the game at dif stages, but credit where credit is due they played a better game than we did. we need to buckle down and bat properly or we will miss finals, we are bowling well and struggling with the bat. but we will get better 8) also would like to say to all have a merry christmas and a happy new year to all, stay safe and see you all on the ground soon.

Quite possibly mate, but IMO it's pretty poor form saying it in the first place. :?

It's a good thing the C&CCA coaches don't treat our juniors with the same level contempt & disregard. Particularly when the ATCA U21's would most likely smack 9 shades outta the likes of Ingle Farm... :P

I'd also like to make mention & give kudo's to OB, for not only getting the side off the ground again this year & looking after the lads on the day, but organising the game to be played on turf. We could've easily played the match on hard wicket, but at the end of the day we would prefer to give the U21's some exposure to playing on turf. Our Carnivals are played on turf, and as such, the likes of Borgas, Sandford & Traianos would've learnt valuable lessons yesterday. You can't replace practical with theory.. ;)

Special thank to Typewriter for volunteering his services to score. Thank you mate!! Thanks also to all that came out & offered their support for the young fella's.

Have been told by a very good source that the Rose park v Seaton game was very interesting. Once again it sounds like the one Muppet was dragging the whole club down. Apparently they bowled Rose Park out for just on one hundred and muppet was very vocal on what the result was going to be.

Clark had bowling figures of 4 for 4 off 7 and a half overs, his first two balls went for 4 runs then the rest were all dots. Henderson opened up the other end and had figures off 0 for 9 including 3 wides off his 8.

Is it true that Gordon took most of the wickets? My source was well and truly drunk when i spoke to him sat night!

Muppet had asked about 4 Rose Park players to fight on the street after the game lol

Smasha i so wish i played in this comp to do the same thing. I heard that someone got sent off from Square leg after one over after Muppet walked straight up to Rose parks batter and chested him at the end of the over. This someone went up to the muppet and told him to pull his head in and they nearly came to blows.

I think you will find Hendo was the player sent off and also nearly came to blows with this bowler when Hendo was batting and the bloke in question yelled out " Lets get this cancer patient out" which Hendo took exception to.

I haven't seen many Seaton A grade games this season but I think it is only one bad apple that is causing the problem. So we shouldn't put the blame on the side as a whole. If opposing teams put a report in regarding the common source of the problem then maybe something will be done.

Best way is self regulation. The club itself should not allow muppets to be part of their club lest the club will be judged as a muppet club.

Bowling for SACCCA:
M.Spry 0/44 off 8
J.Ridley 0/41 off 8
J.McLeod 0/41 off 8
N.Kelly 0/34 off 4
L.McLeod 0/28 off 6
M.Traianos 0/21 off 3
M.Sandford 0/22 off 2
J.Borgas 0/15 off 1

All lads bowling as well as they can, ATCA just a cut above.

SACCCA all out for 49, J.McLeod 15, M. Sandford 12. 5 ducks all up, every wicket bowled except for a run out and stumping.

Speak took 5/4 for ATCA including a hatrick.

I can think of atleast a few that didnt play. We should be commended for having a side though as it wasnt that long ago we didnt. TURF simply a class above. Heard the turf side had 50 attend their training sessions.

Probaly could have picked their bottom 12 and still smacked you puppets.

And a couple of the supporters too who were applauding him for his fine batting effort :D Was also heard having a huge crack at his own skipper at a drinks interval challenging him to a fight aswell.

Traianos & Harris are good lads and both stuck around for quite a while after the game for beverages and a chat but the sooner they get rid of this bloke the better because he's giving them and more importantly their club a very very bad name.

Mate this bloke is past being a knob. When he is treating to beat up his own captain at the last drinks break it just isn't on. Guys were talking to Seatons captain after the game and telling him they should move him on. Apparently he has threatened to bring down his mates and beat them up if they try it.
They guy is a wanker of the highest order. But i guess you know best.

And the Seaton skipper is a young bloke too. He needs all the help he can get, not threatened to have his head knocked off by his opening bowler.

In other bad news, Rob O'Gorman was denied a century on Saturday after being fired by George just 98 runs short of it.
I wish I was as good a cricketer as what Phantom tells me he is
