Is there a rule that if you have over a certain amount of Suspensions at your club, that your club can lose all points?

This is covered in bylaws. Additional penalties apply when a team incurs 3 or more suspensions. Heaviest penalty is for 6 or more suspensions in a season which results in team losing 13 to 20 points. Nothing about teams losing all their points

Interesting. A certain team in a2s has covered the 6 or more suspensions and 13-20 will ruin their finals hope.

Port Districts and Penfield have had 2 suspensions this season in A2. Can't see any team with 6? Port Districts had two players suspended in C3 earlier in the season and were docked 20 points. That means the Port Districts lad that was suspended last week was the clubs fourth for the season. Extract from Bylaw Part G.....

The following additional penalty range will automatically be enacted and continue to be applied thereafter upon the third instance of a player from the same club being subject to a guilty finding during the current season. This additional penalty will be applied to the offending players team in the grade in which the offence occurred

3 suspensions = 1 to 4 points
4 suspension = 5 to 8 points
5 suspensions = 9 to 12 points
6 or more suspension = 13 to 20 points

My understanding from what I was told, is that one of the umpires was adamant that Pt Dist would be docked points as it's in front of the tribunal now.How many points, if any, I'm not sure

Yeah it's interesting. Will probably end up at the lower end, given the Rd 10 offense only attracted 1 point, so was considered lower end.
Either way, taking 5 points off now will certainly have an impact!

BOM forecast has changed, now only 40% chance of 0 to 1mm, so looks like all games will be completed. Good luck to all teams competing for final spots. I can also confirm that Port Districts will not be losing any more points, unless someone steps over the line this weekend.

Might be able to watch some trial games then.

Hearing some mail on Pooraka B's not wanting to go to A2? And a possible Penfield/Brahma Lodge merger? Any truth?

Something going on at Penfield i believe, as Willaston in the BLCA are thinking they will get some players from there, there has always been ties between the two

Was the rule amended permanently or only temporarily when Goodwood did it when they changed the divisions back to 12 teams again?
