Id go with Nitter and Smasha. Crackers was as well, not sure how fast he sends them down now though. Both him and Smasha are quick off not much of a run up. Giggsy used to be up there a few seasons ago too.auto wrote:Not many if any Div 1 premiership sides over the last ten years have had a really good spinner that has heavily contributed to GF success

GN was slippery back in his day. Salisbury West used to have some blonde surfie bogan when they first joined our comp who was quicker than Glenn but was all over the place like a mad woman's brekky.Remember playing them at their ground and he got pasted all over the place this particular day and each time he went to or over the fence, his reactions became more animated.
By the end of the day he was like a Tourette's sufferer requiring intensive anger management sessions....

Can't ever remember facing anyone that I'd deem quick, but Ross Hill & Crackers were the pick of the bunch, and Mick Kieboom probably the most slippery.

Good luck and congratulations to young Pidge on leading the Fitzroy 1st XI this weekend for the first time.
I have no doubt you will do a great job mate!

Surely Fitzroy CC won't let a No.11 bat and opening bowler be skipper? Last team to do that was England with Bob Willis, when side burns were cool, West Indies Cricket terrorized the world and one Dennis Keith Lillee with his chest hair flowing was Australia's saviour.

It's retro week at Fitzroy. What was once good is back again.
