Massive score by Smithfield - Did Virginia have any out?
PGCC could scare alot teams this season - Wouldnt surprise me if they made the finals.
Westies just showing the comp that they are #1 - Any chance of an outright on the cards?

Yes Browny they may, as long as they beat the other 3 lower half teams in both forms and maybe snag a win against a top four side they should be right in the hunt. Will be good for them, and the club to stay up and not get relegated

smithfield would be tough anyway but we will have out 7 a graders and 5 b graders out of that game hopefully we can do enough against the other sides for this not to factor into our chances, bloody weddings

fair opening stand who are the not out batsmen?

Hanson 59 and not sure who else, Hanson will make plenty of runs this year i reckon. Not quite as good as his brother but still a very good cricketer in his own right. Will be eager to see how he goes against the pacier attacks from Westies and Rosies

my goal is just 1 more than you this year
wont change my game against the quicker attacks still just close my eyes and swing like usual.

Haha as is my goal for the year to be one ahead of you, i think you need to give yourself a bit more credit than that, hardly a eye closing bat swinger in my opinion. Did Bennett open the bowling or did he come on 1st or 2nd change?

Good to see Bennett playing A's, faced him a couple of years ago and my bat was hitting 90m 6's over point thanks to his pace. He was pretty sharp, along with his height he wasn't the easiest bloke to face.

brayden opened, as our opening bowler decided to go play turf cricket friday night :? he bowled o.k but his second spell was awesome the pressure from lukey was awesome hit same spot over and over again and deserved his 3 wouldnt like facing lukey would be annoying with his angle and action.

Looks like we have alot of poker players on here, no one wants to admit to who they've picked up.
Smithfield lost McMillan to Freeling and picked up Bickle from Playford. It looks like Newman is going to commit to a full season after this game and we're still hoping to pick up another all-rounder who hasn't committed to anywhere yet this season despite having 3 clubs wanting his services.

Yeah to be honest i wouldnt have minded seeing him playing for Sandy ;) hes pretty green but with the right mentoring he could be a bit of a weapon just so long as he has the boys around him pumping him up

Much like SAAFL, the Para Districts clubs should have to have the results in on my cricket on the Saturday night...

At least everyone can have a look at the results this way and keep a track on who is doing what....

Surely each club can delegate someone to look after this?? We have bothamsfearnly who does a super job! ;)

Interesting in Grade 3

is the G Sutton for ATCO Gary Sutton
and the B Moore for Craigmore Benny Moore

if so couple of handy players who at there best would have to be in there sides best 11 people would think.

I would say that is Benny. My understanding is he is out there to play with a couple of mates and won't be seeing any first 11 action. Football is Ben's 1st choice and would say he probably won't play after xmas.
