I opened the batting for the first time since 1993 on sat.
We were 1/0 (not me out either)
I batted for 16 overs, to be out for 12- & we were 2/22.
Our #'s 3 & 4 then went on to make 39 & 39.
We ended up making 130-odd i think.
as a side, it was vast improvenment, as we've struggled to build a score, or spend time in the middle.

Punk, have sent those stats on and got a phone call straight back, can you ring Paul Nobes at SACA, he is looking for an opening batsman that can bat for 16 overs

Locky,
I made 19 on Saturday & batted for 23 overs.
My good form has put pressure on the Redbacks, who under duress, have found some form themselves

well done Punk LAWRY :D

No. Actually Punk has been playing quite well, considering his job as an opening batsmen these days. He has consistently got starts which is good, a score from him is not far away.

The Punk-Ecky Cup runneth over tomorrow...
I'm relaibly informed that ALCC have prepared a road, & Ecky has stated that the key to beating Fitzroy, is to get Punk out early!
This game will have more sledging & emotion than the 3rd Test in Perth- it will be hotter than a curry...

Adelaide Lutheran's home ground in the south parklands, just off Goodwood Rd.

Boo MayZ though - he reckons he can't play as he is under the thumb!

mmm may have to call in for a looksy, love that ground played there twice and got 2 unbeaten tons, but will wait for the official forecast first, wouldn't want it to be too hot, although the ball will be hot coming off the centre of the Punks bat

Obviously Ecky and Punk are locked away somewhere in a pub celebrating and crying of each or both of their exploits, either that or both failed or suceeded and don't want to whinge or celebrate :D
