I dont think he ever trained.........
His on field behavior was pretty poor towards umpires too Ive heard.

Didn't like the captain.

Sherm would agree that you can't blame him for that... Especially after the home truths told in a late night phone call last season. :partyman: :)] :))

Any thoughts on winners for this round...

Goolwa v Aldinga
This should be a tough match for both sides, Aldinga unlucky not to get a win last week on the back of Chambers ton. Tough weekend for the Goolwa lads against Willunga they never really looked in it. Will be interesting to see how the Goolwa lads go this weekend with the Schoolies festivities very close... has Andy enforced a curfew or will there be a few scattered Goolwa lads rock up on Saturday! Despite this my tip Goolwa!

McLaren v Enc Bay
McLaren coming off a good win and Enc Bay coming off a bad loss will be very interesting match. For me Enc Bay have to much fire power with both bat and ball and should get the job done.

Pt Elliot v Willunga
Pt Elliot coming off the bye and Willunga coming off a good win. Pt Elliot yet to win a match will be looking to reverse this trend but the reigning premiers should get the job done lead by the inspirational as always Minot!

Port elliot all out for 89 angus williamson with fine figures of 4/15 off 12... willunga 6 down for 40 simon donaldson pick of the bowlers with 4-22 off 12 well backed up by hamish robertson taking 2-9 off 11 should be interesting to see how next week turns out!

anyway, onto more important things, good to see andy evans fianlly stepping up and grabbing games of cricket by the balls. leads the runs and the wickets for the comp at this stage. hope he keeps it up. has always had the talent, hope he now begins to deliver some big games and goolwa get a few W's on the board!!!!

Hello Fans and aircon,s whats happening everyone!!?? Solid times!!? Now i hear Alex Num is the coach of the U21,s this year with of course Bob ‘P.P.Lion’ Martin as the ever present manager!! Bob and Alex have had several discussions about the teams make up and this is what I..Tony ‘ can leak to the fans (couple of players as always couldn’t play}!! Eg Chambers & Williamson.

Robertson(PE) Thomas & McPhail(W) Cox, Hicks(C),Vitkunas(wild thing)& Hunter(M.C.), Grenfell, Rix,& Moules(keep ya daughters at home)(E.B.), Nairne & Genocky (M.D.) Teams is subject to selection changes each game!! Game is at Burgess oval this Sunday!!! Get there!!!!!!

How does everyone feel about it, and hoping we can get some supporters there to cheer the guy’s on!!! ...Ok bring on ya options!!!!!!!!!! Bitches!!!!!!!!!!!

Want a bed time story.....In 1989 a massive unit name A Num played his first year of U21,s with some true ..GUN,S!!! We won, beating Southern at Hallet Cove in the final!! Can,t remember all the players but the team was something like this A Duffield(C) C Patterson(rather nippy)...Peter Allen & M Henderson(wicket keeper..lol) (and when he batted in those days he used the same pad’s, that’s old school) couple of Siberly,s from pongy and R Hutchinson(he was average...) S Magor from yank and sorry to the others i have forgot!!
In the second game at Murray Bridge chasing just over a 100 runs Paddy(P. Allen) and Num opening the batting putting on just under 100 for the opening wicket, but not before both got hit in the head!!! Num who in those days at 17yrs waz ..’pulling everything’.. took on their opening bowler but got through the shot to early and got smashed in the back of the head, he waz wearing a helmet which waz smashed and split from the centre all the way down to the back(the helmet had no visor just the old A. Border little ear guards)!! What SOME people found funny is that the opposition had the audacity to appeal for L.B.W.....!!!!!
Anyway Paddy when the partnership got close to 100 was coming back for a quick...second(anyone remember Paddy?) he wazn,t the fittest bloke...well he got smashed in the face by the ball thrown in from the boundary, it waz nasty massive cut swelling blood everywhere serious stuff!!! So he had to retire hurt..typical of an Enc Bay player.... woooooo!!!!!!!

Just thought id nib ya all you with some Figg Shield history!!!

Ok bed time everyone... BUT GOOD LUCK TO THE LADS SUNDAY!!!!!!!
Stay solid folks!!!!

Ps Hamish and Bloods.. Are your teams winning, or you just worried about average stats!!!... Stop arguing about who,s turn it is to use the tonka toy,s in the sandpit!!!!! Go away, tell ya mum,s who care!!!!! maybe..

great post tony

Safe to say Elliot are destined for the spoon, there bowling attack looks really good but they have No batsman, it is a pity, but they are still competitive every week and well done on the lads for having a crack.

great to see Andy evans furfilling his potential and having a blinding year, this guy is a gun, can maybe lead goolwa to some finals action this year.

Compass, Willunga, Bays and Mclaren look the top 4 at the moment.

But anything can happen in cricket.....

Great Nibs Tony!!!!

Good luck on the weekend Lads!!!
