Round 1 of the Bank SA Shield on Monday has also been cancelled already, with Tuesdays expected storms it could be round 3 or 4 before the comp gets underway - disappointing how much Grade cricket has been lost this summer but that's cricket. Always subject to appropriate climate.

Sturt d Woodville by 62 runs. The last wicket taken was by Wood who was bowling his 11th over which the umpires had no idea. The scorers tried to get the umpires attention but they didnt see the light flashing from the cluboom.

Will Dan Cullen be playing 2nd Grade Cricket in a couple of weeks time? He is getting spanked by 'A' grade sides, and must be the worst player in the History of Australian Cricket to don a 'Baggy Green'......is there anyone worse?? or have I missed someone?

TTG defeated PA by 5 runs...... TTG batted first started slowely Davies a dnsawade bowling well and then put the foot down to make 7/235 Weaver 70 odd Cobb 68 and Gatting 50no

In reply PA were 3/15 but Davies and Walters(??) the red nut put on over 100 and set port up to a run a ball Davies eventually out for 70/80 and Walters 98no PA needed a 11 off the last over but TTG bowled it out well... crucial stumpings by Tim Davey of of pacemen and 2 good catches helped(he did drop Davies on 10  )

So i think we play Northerns now in a couple of weeks

Watched him with interest in a game late last year against Prospect and given the situation of the game, I could not believe the way he carried himself on the ground, for someone that has played at the highest level....
Don't know the guy, but appears to be a very frustrated cricketer at present one would suggest...

Cullen Bailey is leaps and bounds ahead of him now, and Aaron O'Brien getting more of a go, Dan Cullen's First Class career seems over at the young age of 26. Would he and Beau Casson be considered the luckiest guys ever to represent Australia at Test Level? The guy has always had a lot of confidence, but that will be slaughtered when or if, the Buffaloes decide 'Enough is enough' and drop him to B grade.

Surely the token tests given to Shaun Young and Simon Cook rank equal or higher than DC's solitary test to date.

He has struggled big time since returning from a champions trophy campaign where he did not play a single game. Now others have passed him by including Bails who is a far superior batsman, scored 70 in club cricket on the weekend

I'd love to take "token" figures of 7/75 on my "token" test debut.

He was in form at the right time when McGrath got injured, performed well, but unfortunately with injuries etc, never regained that form.

Dan earned his spot in test cricket when he got his games. People have short memories. He well and truly deserved his spot. He may not have performed or done much since, but to say he is the worst player to ever don the baggy green is an absolute disgrace. Ridiculous really.

I do agree that Dan was the next spinner in line at the time he got to play his test match.

Having said that he is closier to playing B Grade cricket than State Cricket at the moment, I don't think he has even been picked in the 2 Xl of late.

In terms of spinners going around A Grade and state cricket in South Australia what number would Dan Cullen rank?

Couple of promising young spinners coming through from what I've seen.

Dand from Glenelg looks to have bowled well this year. LAOS. Played a "Futures" game recently for SA and went well. Very accurate. Hard to get away. Must be a smart lad. I understand he's also been accepted into a double degree in Law.

Joraslafsky from Southern leading wicket taker in B grade at the moment. Not much of him but I saw him run through Sturt's middle order for a 5 for before Christmas. Clever with his change of pace.

yes he deserved his spot but at 26 he should be in his prime, so he will most def be judged on what he is doing now, bit like woewodein in the AFL??
IMO the little pretty boy just worried about how he looked rather than playing f***ing cricket.. he would of hated it years ago without the big srceen replays.. its like porn for him..
