Yer he batted really smart, pretty much helped set it up for Russell to have a slap. Drew? Whenan really needs to work on his sledging tho. I told him he wouldnt have to swing so hard if he had a decent bat and his retort was 'get a new face'.

Congrats to Rusty Curyer on his maiden ton for Keswick, 130+ no. against South Road.

Yes young Drew has a bit to learn as to when to say something and when to keep his big mouth shut i hope our captain told him that was inappropriate and to grow up.

That is a fantastic effort by Rusty and obviously a good day for you guys against the reigning premiers. Who else made runs for Keswick?

Its always the right time to sledge me (just ask Robbie Hopkins) he didnt go over the top & had a smile at the end of the game so its all good, but if you are gonna sledge or partake in some gamesmanship atleast say something witty and definately don't hit a catch straight down the guys throat..

Scott Martin and Scott Patterson both got 40's again, BayBoy got 30 or so and i think Kurt McKinely had a slap at the end. I was playing section 2 and havent seen the book so i cant be sure.

A great knock by Rusty. Went in on the 5th ball and batted out the rest of the day. As for Cruiser, he sat in the stands and watched the whole thing. Also threw out some friendly banter to a couple of his South Road team mates. A very young team out there though. Cruiser may just be their oldest player when he gets back out there...

Sam Cheek rocked up late. Was lucky to get a bat at all as we were ripping through them.

Never seen Cheek make runs against us either. Only guy who looked like he could bat ok was Ben Moore.

i was thinking that would b the case! That was the case with WYC v Plympton last week where one plympton bloke rocked up late but they were already bowled out! A good start for Coro Ramblers so far!

Yeah it is, but we should have a better idea after playing Westminster. Keswick were a bit of a rabble against us, but then knock up 300 a week later...go figure. Guess Rusty had a fair bit to do with that - one of the best all rounders in the comp IMO. Coromandel look set for a tough season. Doesn't help when one of their blokes did a Herschelle Gibbs in the last couple of overs. Tried to celebrate too early and put down a sitter in slips.
