just play your best cricket and don't concern yourself with those type of tactics. Best team will win and to try to "arrange" finals is just stupid and dangerous. at that end of the season you should believe that you can win it regardless of opposition

well said like i said im just bored and was thinking i wonder if sides prefer to play certain teams than others. Meh anyway moving on..

PDCA v C&CCA assoc match is in a few weeks at Greenacres footy club, both 21s and seniors, who wants to go down, watch & and get on it!

Yeah your right, i struggled to think of 10 bowlers lol, and i looked up the leading wicket takers and there he was, joke or no joke its a decent effort regardless!

Pretty sure he had some 500/600 run years and that was when there were better/more quality bowlers around. Seen him take on Bloodybouncer when bloodybouncer was at his best and play some cracking shots.

I understand in the past he has but come on, your asking for the top 10 batsman currently in the comp, how can you name a bloke who hasnt had that impact in a long time? Thats like me saying oh im coming back to churches next season to captain Enfield, i hit a carnival ton 6years ago when i was 19 and made the aussie side i wanna be in the top 10 but in reality im a filthy hack who would struggle to fit into any div 1 sides top 7!

general consensus has NEK and PV as the two major teams, now towards the end of the season, would say NEK look at the ladder and try and finish in a position to play the weaker side below them that makes it i.e RP, and does a side below i.e. Fitzroy aim to win or position itself so it doesnt play arch enemy PV 1st week of the finals?

Bad luck if no one understands that, im bored

Pretty sure Vi$ta are my fav opposition mate. I never laugh so much when im playing and i know Pidge fires up. The great man Richie was fired up this week, tho i think getting out to Pidge didnt sit too well with him. We all have our fav opposition teams for various reasons.

Used to love beating Methos at thier home ground. I never understood why when one of their players hit a four the rest of them would carry on like monkeys hooting and hoolering like theyd won the lotto. I know Pidge had a special spot in his heart for them too.

Phantom, they were our arch rivals like 4 or 5 years ago. There are only a handful of players that played then still in our A Grade side.
I like playing against PV, always a good tough match played in the right spirit. I must admit it was good fun standing at square leg in our second dig on the weekend. Richie was in his element getting stuck into a couple of our batsmen.

I like playing against PV, always a good tough match(i love getting Richie and co out) played in the right spirit(every now and then someone really fires up and i love it). I must admit it was good fun standing (daydreaming) at square leg in our second dig on the weekend. Richie was in his element (firing up) getting stuck (saying hello) into a couple of our batsmen.

Extremely sad that junior participation is not promoted at so many Clubs and should have a good hard look at themselves for their selfish attitudes. And I'm not talking about Clubs like NEK & Morialta who have limited (ie; no) U21's on their books.
