Had a chance to pop past westies training tonight, must say looked very sharp. J Davies bowling with some real heat so R&C might look a bit shakey this week.

would want to hope he has kept his pace with only being 20 years old

the point might of been that he is getting quicker as he gets older.. how old are you unknown??

dosen't everyone, then slowly die down after mid 20's

Is that going ahead?

Salisbury West would make up at least 50% of that team

I will give my opinion only on what I have seen against us.
McCafferty (SW) - flawless batting against us
S Sewell - (SW) - captains innings against us and eventhough didnt make heaps - got them back on track - should captain side as last years premiership captain
J Natsias (virg) bowled well I thought and we know can bat
A Leo (virg) again bowled good lines - more than useful allrounder
J Carman (AV) best bowler I have seen this year - we have only seen virginia's bowling line up
S Brown (BL) I am bias but in cracking form with bat and ball

Keepers - dont think I have seen the best keeper yet - Heard parafield gardens keeper is very good
Other bowlers - cant go past McInnes and Davies. If fit Feltus has good heat
Other Batsman - Parkhouse is all class, Neil making plenty and McNair could be best bat in comp

What about R Howe? One of the highest scoring bats (consistently) in the comp for a long time. Getting on a bit in age but just keeps putting runs on the board. Very handy bowler too!!

The word is that Peter Figallo and Bob Wharton will be looking after the CUSA team, they are monitoring individual performances to base the invites on. A very pro-active move IMO, unfortunately some good players could just be having a poor run. I remember years back I couldn't buy a wicket in the PDCA and got a run in the association team where I took 5/8 or something like that, sometimes it just needs a big game to get you up and running again.

Sorry mate, I'll rephrase it to "a mate of mine". My highlights are few and far between nowadays, I've gotta hold on to some of the past, I had more emphasis on not being able to get a wicket in our own comp, my captain wasn't too impressed.

What CUSA side will that be? I thought SAMCA, the new cusa, hadn't got it up and running as well as saying they won't be providing the same services, such as shirts, to the associations and that they will have to foot the bill themselves.
