Looks like 1st Grade Grand Final needs to find a new venue as Shield Final now at Karen Rolton Oval

Would they play on Park 25 No.2 or Glenelg Oval maybe?

Will all depend on oval availability with the SANFL Club. Would think can only be Woodville or Glenelg.

Maybe Adelaide Oval?

A two dayer much easier to fit in between AFL games than a five day game :D

Is the Glenelg outfield and pitch in good condition like it was when State cricket was being played there? If so, that would be a better option for the Shield Final than Karen Rolton. Likewise, Woodville Oval would be better than Karen Rolton for the spectator. The SACA could comfortably schedule either for Premier Division 1 knowing it will be neutral. :D

Glenelg easily over Kensi......But Port beat Gullies.......Port are now safe

So Glenelg are relegated.....unless commonsense prevails and changes......to 1 up and 1 down

3 games done and dusted. 5th, 6th and 7th with easy wins. Uni and Glenelg relegated.

WT 5/347 at Stumps vs Sturt.

A West Torrens win will see them jump to 3rd. An outright would see them jump to 1st.

Bottom two teams relegated as worse performing all year

Conor McInerney moved from Woodville to Glenelg to play division 1......

Those guys can move clubs as well! Perhaps they could all end up at different clubs and increase the standard overall

Can't change the rules just because a club has several professional stars but also raises the question if they have these guys how come they ended up getting relegated

Should there be some sort of Draft system for Premier Cricket for SA contracted players whose club gets relegated to Division 2, also for players that come to SA via the Redbacks and the English players via the Lehmann Academy?

If you have ties to an existing club in Div 2 who gets promoted back to Div 1, you're encouraged to return to them without the need to use a draft pick. Eg. Lehmann back to East Torrens or McInerney back to Woodville.

If players choose to stick with their club and play Div 2, that is fine, but really the aim should be to make the Div 1 comp as strong as can be.

Good luck to them...

https://www.sacapremiercricket.com.au/_ ... f3ff2a.pdf

Men’s 1st Grade Division 1, Division 2 and SACA Under 19
311. The Men’s Senior 1st Grade will comprise two (2) divisions, being Division 1 and Division 2, where:
311.1. Division 1 will consist of eight (8) teams; and
311.2. Division 2 will consist of six (6) teams.
312. A SACA Under 19 team will compete in Division 2 in the Men’s Senior 1st Grade but will not be eligible for promotion
to Division 1.
313. At the conclusion of a season, the bottom two (2) teams in Division 1 will be relegated to Division 2 and the two (2)
Grand Final teams in Division 2 will be promoted to Division 1. If the SACA Under 19 team plays in the Division 2
Grand Final, the team finishing third (3rd) in Division 2 will be promoted to Division 1.

Looks like Arch44 correct and GF will be played at Woodville.

Could it be a replay of the Triple Premiership year when WT beat Kensington there

Ist Grade Women also being moved to Park 25 No.2 as Cricket Australia won’t let anyone on there before the Shield final.

Thought WT might play for the draw today :D Reckon easier semi playing Sturt than going out to TTG.

Hearing as many as six Clubs be looking for new coaches next season

This is bit of a worry, it is such a time consuming job and the financial reward is not great. Not sure where they will find so many decent coaches.

Sam McNally (Glenelg) - heard moving up to QLD to live
Andrew Zesers (Southerns) - been there several seasons, time for change
Tom Cooper (Woodville) - time poor decision

Who else? Not sure.

Maybe Weeksy (Port) and Hags (WT) take a break, been there long time and can be pretty draining.
