:-bd great post!!

Agree, where's the like button?
They are a bit weird up there at the hill....

one persons post doesn't make us all weird lol.

we are traveling well but we are certainly not getting a head of our selves. We know what we are capable of and we know we can beat any side when we put it all together. We were put under the pump by Angle Vale on the wknd early but the boys fought back and got right back on top. I take being favorites as a compliment, personally i think the guys prefer to fly under the radar but its hard to do when your sitting on top of the table.

We have a big test against a quality side in R&C this week. The lads are certainly looking forward to it and we will get a real good feel for where we are at in the competition. Very early days but the boys are definitely enjoying the winning feeling and doing everything possible on the track to keep it going.

after chatting with a cpl of boys from R&C they told me that he was a B grade bowler maybe pushing for an A grade spot at best. Thats only based on one training session tho

Winning is a culture/habit and you have started really well and that will help you alot..

To me the big barometer in some of my thoughts are the Feltus comments - they are dumb as dog crap but when they back some of these OTH blokes in the way they do you need to stop and pay some attention.. When a bloke like Mick Feltus talks up the batting prowess of some of there blokes and puts a compliment like "Mcnair is the best bat i've bowled to" out there then you got to ask yourself - HOW GAY ARE YOU MICK!?! :P but seriously turns heads - especially when you are 3-0

1st of all it's no pleasure being in the same place as both of them at the same time, and 2nd no, Michael I believe is having more work on his shoulder end of the week in preparation of the business end of the season ;) pleasing thing is he is now throwing at about 96% and has large range of mobility, flexibility and strength in his arm and is constantly improving..

I made a predication pre season before a ball was bowled, was an ad-hoc (look up the word young pup) comment to generate conversation... McNair, Neil, Scott, Smith, Fantasia, Hanisch.. arguably if not the best top order on paper in the comp..

As for putting you above Westies, i've had the luxury of seeing them first hand, therefore giving me the right or better position to make a judgement on where i thought they were in the pecking order..

I get on here and talk shit for laughs, but mostly i say shit that is accurate, you just sound stupid.. "Westies are full of experience, big game winners that can really step up in a grand final and win it for them"... Yep coz im sure DJ, Kershaw, Trav McIntyre, Dom Costanzo and to a lesser extend Wellington have played a massive part in their success in grade 1 over the past few seasons

but mcinnes, davies, sewell and parkhouse are all quality players. yes they dont look as strong as previous seasons. but im still tipping them for a grand final berth. i havent yet had the chance to see them yet this season. this next game between rosies and goats could tell a big story i reckon. should be a very good game
top order does look very good for us at the moment and are performing at the moment. its great to see as previous years we have felt we have been bowler heavy.
i just think its very hard to pick a favourite on current form. as much as it would be great to keep this form going throughout the whole year and on into the finals, we will probably have a dip in form at some point. westies and rosies on reputation are still in my books the yard stick for the comp to follow. but the flag could be decided on who times there run the best and who peaks too early or too late.

:? Are you sure you're not a closest politician?! That is arguably the most round about, diplomatic post i have EVER READ!!

Hard to pick a fav after 3 games? Remind me to ring bookies and tell them they cant release odds under the business end of the year...

Dont worry with L. Lister bowling in the A grade no one is calling you "bowler heavy" ;)

:ymapplause: lol haha... who knows. surely cant do any worse than the current politicians. but lets not start a political debate this could go on all night haha

well being batsmen heavy and definitely not bowler heavy as u say, then 'arguably the best top order' may have to target the rosies bowling attack... who knows, it could be the off spinner who comes in the firing line ;)
