No-one has ever received coin at Ramblers that I know of.... mind you, Justin Strange was offered cash for every wicket he took if he moved to Mitchell Park several years back. Think we've offered free subs from time to time for new blokes who supposedly can play....often turns out they can't!

All of it small fry compared to the stupid money in football anyway.

Have all the clubs appointed Captains?

I see on the clubs websites that Mitchell Pk's captain will be D.Adams and Keswick's will be Rusty Curyer. Our captain will be Robert Hopkins. Bazza will be North Havens and Brendan McCormack will be Sheidows skipper, so who else is getting the captains gig around the joint?

Ramblers will be Justin Calderbank again.

Very interesting choice at WYC....what happened to Press? From an oppositions point of view we would have a mutany playing under someone like Hopkins. Great player but shocking role model. Perhaps captaincy will bring out a decent side we haven't seen.

Pressy is 42 years old thats what happened to him AM  . Having the captaincy will hopefully :prayer: be the making of him as a cricketer and role model. Yes there is a decent side to him and those that have played with him have seen glimpses of it but we will need to see more of it now he is the skipper.

Bazza i will give you heaps now that you are the skipper   .

Speaking of role models wyc....?

I hope it will help Rob mature as a person and cricketer by having the captaincy. Opposition clubs will agree he is a very damaging player in all aspects of the game.A little maturity and becoming a better thinker could spell trouble for those who play against him.

Booney, with 5 BOG's last year, i think he is the best player in comp already, with or without the captaincy.

Drove past your ground Bloods and Booney, whats going on with your nets?. All the dirt and grass around it has been dug up and put on the pitch.
